something similar has happened with tommy john surgery in baseball.

it does seem to take almost all of 2 years for "full" recovery: one for recovery enough to play then another to be fully ready/comfortable with their rebuilt knee/elbow.

    This.

Hopefully he can come back strong, I was pleased when Sagna got back on the field and went in for a rough challenge.

    From Frimpong's Twitter:

"Athletico madrid are playing hard with the men, even though they should be playing soft with the girls."

Anyone know what this means? Did I miss something?

It was a reference to a comment he made on Soccer AM that "he was hard with the men and soft with the girls". He meant toughness but it sounds like a sexual comment.

You must mean "Football" AM. Everyone knows "soccer" is an American word.

Though, technically the word soccer was invented in order to make a distinction between union and association football. The former was called 'Rugger', guess what the popular name for that sport is now.

What am I saying, I'm wasting my time just finishing this sentence. Taxi for Mr. Manatee.

Frimpong reminds me of Moses from that Attack the Block. AOC also has a ringer in that movie

I really want nothing more than for him to be good enough to be a solid, week in and week out starter for us. Whether it's somewhat artificial or not, I love Frimpong.

I'm actually the opposite, but I don't really know why. I just don't care for the guy.

Soccer is infinitely better than "soccy" or "soccby" or something like that so I guess we sort of lucked out in the end?
