Good game from Frimpong. His passing is a little short but the timing on his tackles actually is very good. He just seems to enjoy it too much...
That is one way to punch a Spud out! He had a few good tackles on Ade too and a cracking shot at goal.
Of course he enjoys it too much, he's the classic hardman! That's why I'm such a big fan of his game. Giving it to Spurs, while on loan, just won him a thousand cool points.
The Denchman playing well, again his main shortcoming is his range of passing from time to time, not as calm as LeCoq but he fights and battles. He also had a nice little move to flummox two defenders and set up a pass to for the opening goal. Kept battling for the ball and forced a corner to make it 2-1 Wolves. Well done for the 1st half Denchman. Spanish commentators are saying that Frimpong makes mistakes but they like how he works hard to "recuperate" the ball. Wolves fans seem to like his style.
and Frimpong looks to be coming off after a head injury got kicked in the head by Slyvain Petrov as he was diving for a header from a corner kick
Denchman went for a diving header and got caught by Petrov's boot. Fuhk. Best player on the field in the opinion of Villa fans.
Ghana's Emmanuel Frimpong will be out for three months after suffering a broken cheek bone vs Villa today (via BBC)
Depending on the severity of the injury I've heard he may be able to play with one of those phantom of the opera mask.
Looks like Frimpong's injury isn't as bad as originally feared, and he should be back in training in a few days. McCarthy- "I haven't seen him but spoke to him yesterday and spoke to [doctor] Matt Perry and there is no damage to his eye. He's got a bruised face and that will be checked out on Thursday to make sure it's OK." http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/jan/23/emmanuel-frimpong-injury-mick-mccarthy?newsfeed=true

Just curious about the protocol here. Would Arsenal his owners ever send our doctor up to Birmingham to give a look? Or would they leave it up to the staff of Wolves to make the right calls?
Dude it's a cheek injury. If his eyes are fine, he'll be alright. He looks very "European" there. Hopefully, he'll grow out of that.
