Maybe your not the crashing bore that I thought you were! :D
Now if the Flounder could just find the courage to be one up on this non-NorCal team. Then we would have something.

Mr. Speaker, I move that my remarks from the USL Discussions board be entered into the record here.

(Aw, heck, I'll link it, look for Pounder) http://www.usldiscussions.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=2;t=003821;p=2

(BTW, the text belies the smiley IMO)

It's one thing to be against this, and I'm not going to fall on any sword for the notion. I think this speaks volumes about certain fans here, however. In other words, Mr. Moderator, yes, you do need a rivals forum.

Well, then petition the admins for one. I removed two posts and will do so again if this gets into Rivalries back and forth name calling.

Us Portland fans got used to telling non-existent fans to "f-off" when we play Seattle each season.

Says a lot about Portland fans doesn't it?

You know they lock away people who go around talking to non existant people don't you?

Don't you have an empty trophy case that you could be dusting off?

Our trophy case is not empty because our greatest prize is our community.

"The Timbers organization is committed to providing support throughout Portland and its surrounding communities. Whether the situation calls for a team visit to a hospital, a mascot appearance at a company picnic, or simply a partnership to help raise awareness for a greater cause, the Timbers are eager to help. Being able to positively affect the lives of our fans is a goal we strive to achieve every day."

So enjoy your silver now because it is going to be ours next year and we'll be twice as rich for winning it.

What, did you cut and paste that from the teams website?
It sounds like the same "mission statement" that every team uses.

    Baaaaahahahahahahahahahaha!
    Keep on telling yourselves that.

Yeah, I got lazy with the typing. I have to look busy with the real work once in a while.
But I guess you got the main point which is next year when we win the cup the players will have people in the stands to pass the cup to. And they won’t get it back for a good long time. Hell, I’ve got an Idea. What do you say after Portland has once it a few times in a row we start calling it the peoples cup? I mean calling it the Cascadia cup doesn’t seem to make sense since the other two cities fans couldn’t point to the region if given a map. :)

Seattle the smartest city? Who knew? Something strange about that and everyone working for Herr Gates. DOS sucks and I have a feeling that Vista will turn out to be a really bad copy cat OS X. Take that to your Micro Soft NBC poll, smarty pants!

Uh oh, Timbers fans are getting cranky again. Somebody call PGE Park and see if one of the lavender cry rooms are available!

Once a month? Have you seen the size of some of those lads? Try twice a day. Hey maybe that is the way the flounder fans can fill their ground; every fat a$$ take up four seat strategy. Confucius says: very wise.

Small wonder Microsoft voted them the smartest city.

Wow, I've never heard those remarks before!

I've seen some pics of the Army.
Some of your own fit the very profile you two seem to be bashing on.
