@natenate101 - I haven't seen Alvaro Pereira much this season but do you think he could be an alternate solution to Khedira in the midfield? I know he isn't a natural CM but Tabarez has used him there to pretty decent effect if I must say.

I know this might sound stupid and all, but since I don't watch the epl and he seems to put up some good numbers and being from a market we want o establish a firm grasp on, wouldn't Clint Dempsey be a decent player to have?

I've seen a good amount of rumors of David Silva being Mou's top target this summer, you guys think there's any substance there? Obviously Man City would be extremely reluctant to sell but I don't think it's impossible. More likely than Yaya by a good margin I'd say.

Dempsey is a good player, but not the level needed to even be a backup for RM. Very versatile though, as he could potentially back up any of out front 4 positions at the same time. Not enough quality.

Dempsey has been in beast mode for Fulham playing mostly as a support striker. He's played as a target man as well but for both those positions we have players who are a bit better

I struggle to see him as a CM although he is a good passer, complete with the circus tricks and everything but still. Originally he is a left sided player and I think if he were theoretically to come that's where he would play but I don't see many opportunities for him considering the guy in front of him. I mean with his versatility and style of play I think he'd fit in nicely with this bunch of rabble rousers we have as far as link-up play plus he's got a bit of nasty to him but I don't see how he'd get the playing time he'd be after, he isn't exactly young anymore. He does have the quality to be a backup here though, I just don't see where he would fit.

He'd be a great player for Malaga to have. I said it last week, I hope they go in for him. It would give him a new adventure and CL, while giving Malaga more exposure to the United States and a very good player for the caliber team they are.

Don't hate the player, hate the game. Minus a couple of exceptions our team is pretty fine.
