So, am I right that McDonald's got both assists?

I usually spend summers in Europe, but will be around to follow the whole MLS season this year. That makes it more interesting.

Summers in Europe? I'm only a little envious...

Najar has been an interesting choice at RB. He's got the grit and recovery speed, but his touch and dribbling ability seems more suited to a Barcelona RB than a DC version.

    mosca repped this.

It counts! Now I'm just envious in a more temperate and fjordish way. :D

It's been surreal watching Najar win headers in the penalty box. Who knew that was part of his repertoire?

Grain of salt...it IS versus Toronto. He's been caught out of position a few times, and only TFC's poor decisions have prevented those from becoming something bad. That said, I'm glad he counts as a quick fix.

Andy is not bad with his head, I think he also scored a couple of goals that way. But this makes you realize how bad TFC is...

2-0 win on the road, without Russel or DeLeon? Great result even if it was only Toronto.

When Defender Rodney Wallace went from DCU to Timbers... there was some rumours Pontius was also being offered to see what trade he would return. GLAD that trade never happened. I mean if he goes overseas, I don't mind that, but for him to go to another MLS team. There is no one I'd want in exchange of Pontius.

An oddball lineup that worked! Najar should play right back as a starter.

Najar at RB is not a new idea. I definitely remember Onalfo switching him there late in a couple of games and bringing on another attacking player to play RM. He also played there in the youth setup a lot I think.

Whoa! I missed Salihi's goal on the satellite signal loss. Holy crap, if we can keep getting him consistent service, I think he's a fine addition.

great win today. very clutch to come out and have a good performance and get a rebound win against a bad team

True, but that's what I mean. If he can get that kind of goal off that kind of ball...How many times have we had a striker who shoots first and asks questions later?

That's a bit bold isn't it? He looked like a great right back when in possession, but he did get caught upfield a few times. A better team could have punished us for exposing so much space on our right.

But then again I guess you could say that Russell gets caught out of position quite a bit too without the recovery speed so what do I know ... Maybe you're on to something.

Slight hamstring pull according to Goff.
