Huh. Anyone else remember when TFC was new and BMO was packed? There was a lot of, "We Candians support our team more like Europeans than Americans" smack talk. Everyone's response was, "yeah, we'll see how that looks after a few years in the league cellar."

I guess this is what it looks like.

At least the Barra flag is up and loud.

Haven't seen them yet, but that's the only crowd noise I can hear, from our boys.

Do you know where they are seated, relative to the TV view?

Neal has looked terrible so far.

People always say Branko's not earning his starts in practice or whatever. I find it unbelievable that Dax McCarty, Stephen King and now Neal are bringing more to the table than what Branko would.

First time TFC pushed numbers forward and 10 seconds later we counter and get our first shot on goal.

TFC is playing anti - soccer

Why is Najar playing both RB and RW? Cruz has been invisible and ineffective on both ends. Pretty much the same thing with Neal on the other wing.

Do you think he was injured early? He was active early and then he disappeared after a few knocks.

Yeah, Cruz did take a knock about 20 minutes in. Maybe that's it.

If he comes off I say Pontius back to RM and Salihi on. Other options would be to drop Pontius, push DeRo up top and Boskovic on, or just Russell on and move Najar up

I like this move. This slow paced game suits Boskovic perfectly and Neal was a black hole on the left anyway

My only concern with Bosko in the middle and De Ro up front is his lack of defensive-mindedness, and while DC has dominated possession, I'm kinda nervous of our defense on counters...

    case in point...

Also, this ref is terribly inconsistent. Anyone hear about the study on NPR where teams wearing black are more likely to have fouls called against them, even as compared to the same team in the same stadium wearing uniforms are other colours? I think I've seen a lot of that effect from MLS refs...Not that I'm biased. :)

Obvious tactical move by Winter moving Morgan up the field. Najar is a defensive weak spot at this point

Wow, that was such a blatant (and red card worthy) hand ball.

Yeah, how horribly was the ref positioned that he missed that one? The guy was all alone on the line.

    Oh, and CHRIS F$CKING PONTIUS.

    Way to go, Pontius!

Where's DeLeon? Anyone know? He's blatantly missing, yet no one is talking about it. What did I miss?

(This post marks my triumphant? return to BigSoccer after about 10 years' absence)
