Hoping DCU puts out another balls-out attacking display... this time, with defending!

I see that little rat has been reading up on DeRo's vegan lifestyle :)

We have got to have a more organized defense in this game.
But we need to keep pressing forward as well.
Gonna be a good test for Bennie (Happy mf'n 35th Birthday today btw) and how he adjusts. Hope he learns from last night's starting defense, that was a bad decision.

As someone who just turned 36, I invite you to go die in a fire.

Middle-age doesn't start until you turn 40. At which point I plan to have a mid-life crisis of epic proportions.

I'm about to turn 48, and 35 is still old as ********, way too old to be useful any more :) Definitely too old to be trusted.

But I'm still putting my trust in Benny, 'cause I don't have anywhere else to put it :D

dude, I'm 43 and I don't have much more Middle age left. If you can't double your age and reasonably expect to be alive you're no longer there....

So I have about 3 more years of it and you are firmly there.

I'm 38 you bastards (except you older bastard, though you're still a bastard, of course)! I have no plans to enter adulthood anytime soon. Except when it comes to booze, of course. So eff all y'all.

But, yeah, Toronto...let's help them keep their streak going. It's the least we could do.

When you're 35, you can no longer pretend that you are still young.
Age and treachery beat youth and skill, but defense helps, too!
DC United = Ben's midlife crisis?

As for TFC, let's get three points.

TFC is a headcase right now. If DC scores early, I predict pain.

    -----------------------------HAMID
    KORB -----------RUSSELL--------MCDONALD------------WOOLARD
    ---------------------------KITCHEN
    NAJAR----------------------------------------------------PONTIUS
    -------------------------DE ROSARIO
    -------------------SALIHI------------SANTOS

I wouldn't give De Ro more than 45 - 60 minutes regardless of how the game goes. Boskovic can see out the game for better or worse.

Santos too probably no more than 60 - 75 minutes. You can bring in De Leon here and shift Pontius up top.

And assuming you have the lead late (we better have the lead), you bring in Neal for a striker to shut the game down.

35 is the new 40; gotcha.

    vs TFC
    1. Hamid starts
    2. Olsen figures out how to get 4 or 5 defensive guys to play instead of ball watch.
    3. Let Salihi start.
    4. Boskovic starts and replaced by DeRo in second half if need be.
    5. Finsh building Dudar clone machine
    6. Let DeRo cut in line
    7. Seek refund if Direct kick screws up the telecast for the THIRD TIME IN A ROW!!!!!!!

I'm OK with the idea of Hamid, Korb, Salihi and even Boskovic starting. Keep it simple, get an early goal and go home with three points.

    no "less" about it...

But you have the benefit of not having to care what anybody thinks or says about you anymore, so enjoy that.

Not sure where everyone's heads are here? Some are calling for multiple starters being rested but did nobody see that TFC gave RSL all it could take away from home? They seem to be on the verge of getting points and we need to stay focused and beat them to it. They lost to Real in the 92 minute in ET. Real is the second best in the West. We need to bring it from the start or we will give them their first points this year. VAMOS UNITED!!

Mmmm, not so much, I think. It's always good to get points on the road, but it's still well early in the season. I think time would forgive the club if they didn't get the full three points, even from Torquemada FC.
