KC is making BBQ ribs out of DC midfield and hitting shots off post...and taking some long hits as midfield and defense is playing back. (40min mark).

(1min) extra time before halftime....DC flat on all areas, letting KC dictate play and no real shinning moments except the (G) we got on the counter attack.

    Halftime:
    1-1

    BLAH!!!!

they're playing a flat 4. probably a wise choice on the road against KC but yeah it's gonna take some luck to get out with a draw.

Halftime is doing wonders to keep KC out of DC's half.

We look like we've been playing a man down for the second half. And now we're down a goal.

This is starting to look like a game that is going to break open for KC.

We look awful and we're playing awful.

Tan is bad. Not OK, he's bad. DeLeon is tired after like 50 minutes. Saragosa is a joke. Chabala is slow.

It's KCs fault it's not like 3-1 or 4-1 right now

~70% possession, way ahead in shots, way ahead in corners, WAY behind in giveaways. KC is controlling every element of this game. These "investors" better open their wallet sooner rather than later.

And here is the workrate above technical ability philosophy Ben Olsen insists on implementing. Leaving Salihi, Boskovic, Santos and Dudar out in important games this season has cost us. Also does anyone know why he took out Boskovic, seems like the most illogical decision ever, your 1-1 and you take off the only guy in our midfield that can actually keep the ball for more than 2 seconds.
    bigredfutbol repped this.

Don't get me started on Tan, whoever thought he was a good signing needs a kicking, he's running around like a headless chicken out there. It's embarrassing to say the least. There's a reason why he's only scored around 10 goals in his whole career...

Pretty much right on with your game description. On the one hand, we are missing a lot of talent, especially DeRo and Santos. However, the team is so disorganized in defense, poor in clearances and passing, and lacking in cohesion that you really have to question the coaching and game preparation.

I'm ready for the miracle tie, but the possession statistics and lame set piece defense remove any optimism. Dollars alone can't fix this.

Against a team that played 120 minutes earlier this week!
