Who: Ohio Crew When: Saturday April 19th 7:30pm EST Where: Crew Stadium Why: FOR REDEMPTION...err because it says so TV: dcunited.com? TWCSC-OH, MLS Live The boys head to Columbus to try and make it 3 in a row for the first time in what feels like forever. DC was lucky to escape with a win against NJ but sometimes thats what it takes. They were blown out and embarrassed by Columbus in the opening game, so it's time to get some payback. cute picture included
I thought they were peeps. Artificial, yellow and loved by fat people. Like Columbus. I am looking forward to a tie here, we'll be ahead until late.
I saw this live when it happened and was screaming at the TV. What an utter embarrassment for Columbus fans. Hell, what an utter embarrassment for human beings. Scumbag. He made me root for Wondo to pull out another goal at the end of the match, and that's really accomplishing something. The irritating thing about the league's action is that they're punishing him for the simulation, but NOT for the blindside that came before and started everything.
Unfortunately, I think we are looking at a loss. Obviously I would be thrilled with the point, but I think we will lead the match 1-0 into about the 60th minute when they will drop 2 or three in real quick. Despite Deleon's grittiest efforts, we will drop the points. Smile!
Looks like there's a NHL playoff game at the same time at this game, so the crowd could be considerably smaller.
2-0 DC, because you have to have hopes before they can be dashed. Just kidding. I think it won't be as bad as the first game but will still end 3-1 Columbus or something; the last goal comes late-game when DC over-extends looking for an equalizer.
Silva is expected back April 26. A point would be great, I'm predicting a 2-1 loss and a much better performance than the opener.
Man you guys are being a bunch of debbie downers, I say the streak continues! A Nick Deleon goal will start us off before Eddie Johnson gets a brace with Ohio Soccer Team scoring 2.
That was a forearm to the side of the head that Wondo took exception to. IMO it should have been a straight red (intent to injure), (ir!)regardless of the simulation which followed. I don't care how large the fine is, he should sit for two games.
I could see this being very ugly right up until the end, when EJ finally gets on the board. 1-0 good guys.
A lot of people seem to be predicting an EJ goal so I'll take the odds and predict he tries to stab a teammate.
Columbus is away to Pittsburgh that night so might see bit less, but would not think same impact compared to it being a home game.
