Who: Harrison, NJ When: Saturday April 12th @ 7:00PM Where: RFK Why: por que si Are we still doing cute pictures? Because here's one of this little dude. Yeah it's only Monday but it's NJ we're playing. They got blown out in the season opener and have tied every game since then. Thoughts?
As I said before the last match, I want Doyle and Rolfe to start, not just come in as second half subs. Doyle, Rolfe, EJ, Espindola, and DeLeon would put the Heifers under pressure. Yeah, this would probably mean Rolfe out on the wing, where he's not as comfortable as inside, but this group could change places throughout the match. Make Doyle the point man, not EJ. so EJ isn't caught with his back to the goal as much.
I like this idea since you brought it up in one of the other threads. I like the idea of rotation, but I think the "set" positioning would be (IMO): EJ-------------Doyle ---------Espy------- DeLeon------Rolfe -------Kitchen------
Anything less than all RBNY fans pleading to their god for a merciful return to their MetroStars glory days should be considered a loss.
I just hope the boys come out strong and hungry and haven't been reading and believing how great they are! Still have a lot of work to do, we're heading in the right direction but definitely not there yet. We either win this 3-1 or lose 0-3.
Metro forum is saying RB is a huge hole...keep DeLeon on the left and have him keep attacking the wing.
And Roy Miller on the left, so yeah, there should be some opportunities. Btw, I think it's Eckersley as the other fullback, a guy they traded for and are paying a hefty sum.
Unfortunately, Henry will be well rested as he skipped the match with the Impact since it was played on field turf. Any chance RFK can install that before Saturday's game?
Redbull causes cancer Throw the Metro Down The Well Metro Playoff Failure etc. Nothing better than beating the Metros at home. I say 3-1. I want to see Henry melt down and start yelling at his teammates by the 65th minute, then I want him to slip in some mud and be out for the season. Hopefully EJ keeps up his movement along the opponent's back line, NJ's looks suspect. I am hoping either they double up on Espindola, afraid he'll try to have an extra-good game against them, leaving EJ free to destroy them - or that Espindola actually does have a career day despite their efforts.
Can this be the game where Cahill rams his head into the post so hard that he ends his career? Is that even possible that a pole could break his thick skull?
Shouldn't you include a more appropriate picture!?! Like a nurse attending to baby animals with possible cancer. Just saying.
