So classic...Clark kicks him in the chest, it's a stone cold straight red +multigame suspension anyway...and f*cking Ruiz grabs his head. What have we done?

Up in heaven a lot of people are wondering why Chico is cussing up a storm and shaking his head.

Well then, you should have no trouble rooting for your new forward. ;)

He not a DC United player until he steps on the field in a uniform....so might as well get all the vent...rage...shock...and tuna out of the way before that day comes. Plus...now ideas of "YOU HAVE JUST BEEN...FISH-SLAPPED" come to mind. 2013 may be stranger then we all thought.

Pardon my ignorance, but all I read is that we selected the fishy turd in the allocation draft; what are the chances we don't actually sign him to a contract, or would we have even selected him if contract terms weren't already in place? Could he fail a physical at this point?(Please?)

He's a year removed from double-digit goalscoring in the Mexican league. His track record in MLS is of him scoring at a 6+ clip per year.

Most people, when they hear "Mexican league," think the Primera. He played for Veracruz in the Mexican second division.

I'll take a 33 y.o. proven MLS scorer, who probably comes at a very affordable rate.

And last season he didn't have DeRo, Pontius and DeLeon feeding him be ball.

So he is or is not a potential upgrade over Pajoy?

You'll take him because United didn't do the work to get somebody actually threatening on the team. 'It's better than nothing' leaves me a bit empty.

The fact that it is unknown says the world about Pajoy, as much as Ruiz.

I feel like a communist after Hitler and Stalin signed a non-aggression pact in 1939. This must prove there is a God because I'm down on my knees praying this can't be true.

There's a Hooters near my house (so I hear) but there aren't that many in the DC area so he should be easy to keep track of.

This strikes me like the re-acquisition of Emilio - a panic move to bring in someone who saw success at one point, but is likely past his prime. So long without a club, his previous one being a second division team...is this how bad our designated player has looked in practice?

I am going to guess, yes, he is incredibly underwhelming.

Maybe Hooters is picking up part of his salary.

He has the same middle name as Chad Barrett.

Dave Kasper, is this really the best that you can do?

I hope Pajoy cuts *it* with a shiv and dumps *it* in the gutter.

******** the team for even considering Ruiz. ******** the fans who support Ruiz. And I don't care if he cheats the team all the way to the Shield, ******** Ruiz with a long unlubricated pruning saw.

    I'd rather lose with class.

    That's where I'm at.

I've NEVER booed a DC United player, and I won't start now. If he is ever introduced as a DC United player, I will remain silent.

    WTF?

He USED to score goals. Lately, not so much. I can't believe this. A total disgrace.
