I was thinking he was giving off the impression he wasn't very happy about playing down in Dayton. Hopefully he can get over it.
That treatment got Johansen's head out of his butt when he was with Springfield. Hope it works here (but Johansen has more talent).
Finley is not good enough to get all bent out of shape. I don;t think there is a queue of teams lining up to have him lead their attack.
Interesting. Jardy just tweeted this: Where did you get the info about him being suspended? I have seen nothing of the sort.
If it was a league suspension it would probably be officially published. If it is an internal disciplinary measure then do they have an obligation to publish?
No. And it probably won't be admitted publicly. Like Aaron Horton being late for practices/meetings on a regular basis and other internal team matters.
I googled "Ryan Finley suspension" and apparently he was suspended while at Duke before he transferred to Notre Dame.

Why in the ******** would you disadvantage your own team if a player is truly needed b/c he got snarky with the Dayton coach?
Does this tier of USL really care that much about results of the team or is it more focused on player development? I don't even know what tier they're in, who they play, or what kind of trophy they're competing for.
DDL are in USL Pro, the 3rd tier of American club soccer. They do get paid and should at least claim to care about results. DDL hopes to develop players for sale to Europe but haven't had much luck in that regard.
Columbus Crew's Ryan Finley "not doing that well" in Dayton Dutch Lions loan, says Gregg Berhalter Ouch. http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...doing-well-loan-dayton-dutch-lions-says-gregg
Not surprising. I watch the first game of the season and you could see he was playing with attitude and not the good kind.
After speaking with some of the players. I am told that Finley told the coach he has no clue what he is doing and doesn't know how to coach. My understanding is that it was a little more colorful than that too.
He probably should ask a few of his ND classmates about the jobs they got right out of college. See if they have $70K plus salaries, work 4 hours a day (including commute!) for 10 months a year.
