GOAL. @CAFCofficial 0-1 @ReadingFC. Danny Williams thumps a shot into the top corner. #Championship— Sky Bet Championship (@SkyBetChamp) April 5, 2014
Big goal...was the game winner "Williams smashed home a wonder goal at The Valley to move Reading five points clear of seventh-placed Nottingham Forest, who were beaten 2-1 at home by Millwall." - SKY http://www1.skysports.com/football/live/match/288138/report PHOTO: Danny Williams hits the top corner pic.twitter.com/kvZhrc1UFf Reply Retweet Favorite More
Late push for Danny to make the 23. I would love to see him in Brazil. Thinking back to his brilliant game against Jamaica, we need a player like that to back up jones.
He's getting tons of love from their fans on Twitter. They seem really happy with how his season is going, and it looks like he's made himself right at home. ReadingFC Another great moment, Danny Guthrie, Danny Williams and co celebrating with our fans http://t.co/ 4/5/14, 12:07 PM edit: any advice on how to embed the picture?
Picture embedded: @Sup Bro you just go to the picture, right click and select "Copy image URL" then you come back to BigSoccer and use the embed picture button (looks like a little mountain with a sun/moon on the toolbar) and paste the URL into that space, then hit enter and voila!
great photo! love the dirt on his back, that jersey would look nice framed somewhere in the annals of reading lore. danny williams for best yank abroad move of the season? can't think of anyone else who comes close. bedoya has faded a bit and gooch has revived, but williams has been on fire.
Great for him. Bummer we have so much depth at CM. He plays like a mix of Edu and JJ. Not sure how he fits in but I like him.
Yeah I think he's got a wonderful shot though for next cycle with Beckermen, Edu and JJ most likely exiting the USMNT picture.
Danny just can't catch a break. TEAM NEWS: Danny Williams misses out with a knee injury. Le Fondre and Pogrebnyak start up front— Reading FC (@ReadingFC) April 8, 2014
Reading FC @ReadingFC Apr 12 Nigel Adkins also reveals Danny Williams will be touch and go for this Monday's clash with Leicester City http://rdng.co/Guthrie120414
Obviously still long way to go in the match but if one types in "Danny Williams" and then hits "all" on Twitter fans seem to be raving about him so far. Reading are currently winning so maybe they're a bit excited you could say.
Danny just played an exquisite pass over the top to send Gareth Mcleary clean through on goal but he couldn't finish. He's playing in a more advanced midfield role than I expected. Leicester City has controlled the game but Danny's been doing well with the touches he's had. Williams, Edu, and Beckerman will be duking it out in the May camp...it's a shame that one or two of them might not make it.
According to ESPN FC Matchtracker 61'Reading makes a sub: Mikele Leigertwood enters for Daniel Williams. Reason: Tactical According to those on twitter he played well
With all three playing their best in some time, more notably Williams and Edu (I think Beckerman has been playing at this level since the Gold Cup and MLS Cup run last year), that is going to be a battle royale in May. I wish we had such a depth of talent along the back.
Reading FC @ReadingFC 2h SAVE! Cracking effort by Danny Williams from 25 yards but saved by Konstantopoulos (We'll need to give him a nickname)
"The central midfielder put in a top-notch showing that included a game-high five interceptions and several passes that drove the Royals forward. Williams also threatened to score from long range twice in the opening half-hour, only to watch Boro netminder Dimitrios Konstantopoulos foil him each time with a terrific save." http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...laces-a?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
