So what are the final day results and the consequent final matches?

(Sorry but I was busy following Japan's win in Algarve: we're in the final too :giggle:).

Not to mention an unawarded off-side that the line official was flagging for in the Scotland v. Australia match that led to Scotland's goal difference being less advantageous than it would have been if Palmqvist had listened to her supporting officials. But I'm not bitter.

So it looks like Italy managed to win vs Finland at least?

Does anyone know if Ji So-Yun scored again for Korea? And who's the best scorer of the tournament so far, by the way?

Evans and Jane Ross have both 3 goals overall.

A very interesting today double header to watch England Canada and France Netherlands. Enjoyed both games especially the last gap goal from Renard.

    No, not this time.

We won 4-0 against New Zealand, but the goalscorers were Kwon Ha-Nul (2), Yoo Young-Ah, Park Hee-Young.

Scotland may become a dark horse in WWC, provided they top Sweden during group qual. (difficult but not impossible) or finish best four UEFA runner-up's for play off's (very possible) and win.

I had the feeling Italy couldn't do much good in this tournament... :( Sorry for my native country (different from the one I actually root for) but I don't see them qualify for WWC 2015, neither by topping Spain in their group or by play-offing with other European teams...

Honestly, Italy NT is a joke, overrated all the time. The real new teams appearing on the international stage are Spain, Scotland, South Korea. Australia will be very good pretty soon too. Iceland and Chile can be surprises. China is coming back.

Could anyone tell Les Bleues (and young French people, generally speaking), that the two fingers in this position (reverse V sign) don't mean "Victory" as they believe, but "F... you", that it is an insult, and that they look really stupid and uncultured, doing it ? And don't tell me that they did it especially for the English, your joke would be too easy ;)

no. they probably did it for me and all the other simple people who never heard of such a thing and think that it means what it suggests - victory!

    France's victory goals :

It just a friendly tournament so there is nothing to really worry about....Remember last season England won then get humiliated and eliminated some months later in the Euro....You know better than I that when it will count for real Italy will be ready.
They did it as a Victory symbol which is"official" meaning...remember Churchill....only someone with a very narrow mind who see bad intentions on everything could think that they wanted to insult the English....

I think it's only the "f*** you" if it's vertical. Holding up the two fingers sideways like that was a gang sign that was picked up and popularized by the rap/hip hop culture. It certainly doesn't mean "victory," though.
