I drew a semi-bot. This guy has had his team longer than I have but is stilll a 5-7 position DVI team. Up early 0-2. Also, got a nice little 52K payout on the 22K attendance.
Only up 0-1 at the half thanks to 3 missed chances. I'm not too worried though because I have 76% possession.
Ended up winning 1-4 on the road. Neither one of my future Coaches, who both played tonight, had an increase in XP points to lower their conversion costs.
Smashed a bot 9-0... took me a while to get the first goal but they came fast and furious after the first one.. My goal scoring machine Ruiz picked up another 4 goals in the match tonight.
Won 0-2 on the road, despite accidentally starting my backup poor form keeper against a very evenly-matched opponent. Unfortunately, my #1 forward got sent off and my #2 forward got bruised a few minutes later.
I lost 0-1 by a special. Both of us had 111 HS, and that's the highest HS rating I've ever had for a normal match. Darn it.
Won 3-0 - my future coach scored so he got 2 exp pts - and I PICed so Team Spirit is nice. After another PIC this weekend my team will be set for a match-up against one of the two teams that will be battling me for first this year.
Phew that was close. Tied 2-2 after regular time I won 4-3 on penalties. I tied it with my final penalty in the 5th round and won it in the 6th round of penalties. Scary moment there, I fully expected to win by a pretty good margin, and I forgot to set a shootout order. I'm just glad to be through to the 2nd round now.
Won 0-4 on the road, but it came at the cost of a +5 injury to a player I really needed for the upcoming games. Need to buy a short-term replacement because I'm running out of forwards...
gave my div 6 opponent a shot at beating me, he is spending all his cash on a 200k a week divine MF, so he wont be around much longer, so i thought i'd let him have a free punch at me. He missed. i won 3-1
Beat a bot 4-0 on five chances. I was hoping for more, but it's my first win ever in hattrick. Now I drew a guy who'll probably beat me. I'm thinking about going with my backups for Round 2. Any thoughts?
