Jesus Corona to La Maquina http://goal.com/es-us/news/2194/mai...ma-la-directiva-de-tecos-el-traspaso-de-jesús There is a god!
Jesus Corona is a great signing but im wondering if Yosgart is going to want to be the 2nd goalkeeper and wat about GK Blanco is he staying?? Horacio Cervantes joins Cruz Azul http://espndeportes.espn.go.com/news/story?id=855449&s=mex&type=story
Finally... Meza comes in and makes excellent decisions, getting rid of useless players and bringing in solid consistent players... estoy bien ilusionado...

the best signing so far. We have been needing a good GK. I'm also looking forward to Huiqui coming back
yosgart shouldnt be starting he shouldn't even play until he focuses more on goalkeeping instead of his hair
Emanuel Villa joins Cruz Azul http://in.reuters.com/article/sportsNews/idINIndia-40691620090630 I found this in Reuters India of all places. He's an alright player, but he misses too damn much.
Sounds like Cruz Azul would like to sign Villa for 3 years. http://www.terra.com.mx/articulo.aspx?articuloId=841368 One more foreign player spot is open. I'm hoping for a strong central defender.
seriously, are we going to start with 10 forwards?? That's all we buy. Our midfield and defense need some strength too.
Cruz Azul looking for a team where they can send Paraguay striker Roberto Ovelar to, he just joined last season but only played few minutes because he got injured http://www.mediotiempo.com/futbol/m...cruz-azul-busca-un-equipo-para-roberto-ovelar
I think they let him go already. I feel bad for the guy, the team didn't even give him a chance. Isn't he a national team player?
Yeah he plays in the Nat. he was just coming off an injury and was out of form when he joined CA.i think he played about 4 games for CA last tourney. He's good to go now.IMO he should have been given another chance from Meza. because hes a strong CB.
there are rumors oin peru saying tha johel sanchez a 20 year old talented midfield will join cruz azul..
I dont know if he was good but according to the press he was a good player and Paraguay and that is why CA got him but he got injured and hardly played so i cant tell u if he was good or not but without a doubt he didnt get a fair shot. Currently he is looking for a team http://www.oem.com.mx/ESTO/notas/n1245951.htm
Saludos. So apparently the transfer of Emilio Hdez. to Cruz Azul from U. de Chile has been put on hold? I hope la U are not asking more than the US $1.3 mill that had originally been agreed. As you can tell, I am not a huge fan of the guy (though as a Chilean I am happy he gets to leave for a more competitive league ). A little background on Emilio: he generally plays as a 2nd striker, so he does kind of play close to the opposition's defensive line but tries to have the goal in front. More often than not, he will drop deep to collect the ball, in fact. Now this year he has improved in leaps and bounds and that has probably a lot to do with the fact that Markarian (former Cruz Azul coach, in fact, who just resigned from la U) gave him regular starts--something Hdez. did not enjoy with previous coaches. Things that I do not like about his game: he has a tendency to drift out of matches, specially important ones. With the run of games, however, he was getting during the Apertura in Chile this aspect of his game seemed to improve though I am still not personally convinced. And sometimes he tries to pull one too many dribbles, when he could easily be just as dangerous if he tried a simpler/more effective way of penetrating the defensive line. So, in other words, he has his ups and downs. Though he is not a regular for the NT, he does get called up by Bielsa a lot (specially for friendlies) and has been on the bench for a few WCQ matches. He started the friendly between Chile and Mexico which was played I think either in Sept. or Oct. ('08). Hope this helps!
