Nery? I dunno about that? Chuletita is pretty good at putting the ball in the net, but his dribbling isn't even close to Nery's, imo.

I am thinking of going to see the maquina in Salt Lake... and so I'm looking for some important info... like .... where do we get beer after the match?

Any idea where the team is staying in Salt Lake? Like which hotel?

Last I heard. You need some sort of club membership to drink in Utah. I know that ish sounds crazy, but it's true. Things were supposed to change in recent years, but I'm not sure if they have.

EDIT: Things have changed a bit. They seemed to have progressed. Here's a link that might help you.

Are you from Utah? If so, can you shed some light on the drinking laws out there?

That 4th goal (Vela?) was sweet...

In Utah you do not have to buy a membeship anymore. Beer can be obtained at just about any restaurant, pub, club or grocery store. Plus, you can buy beer at Rio Tinto...although it is very pricey. You'll have to show proof that you are 21 or older.

So the team that lost in Panama 1-0 (TFC) beat the team that won in Panama 6-0. Weird.

Also, both Candle brothers won their Champions League games 6-0 on the same day. That's gotta be the 1st time in history that 2 brothers both win 2 different Champions League games 6-0 on the same day.

And Galavision didn't even show this game!!! WTF. They coulda at least shown the 1st half or streamed it on their site. F'in BS. They better not fail to show a Mexican ConcaChampions game ever again.

yeah what was up with that??? either gala or telefutura almost always show the CCL game if a mexican side is involved.

the Arabe team that TFC faced is totally different from this season's.. I don't know if you watched the game, but the midfield is totally new (and a bunch of scrubby colombians,) excepting Armando Cooper (the only 1 that played, cause everybody else sucked in that game)

Our striker, Orlando Papi rodriguez, has been out due to an injury (he was the one scoring all the goals in last CCL), and the other strikers are decent but not imposing..and 3 out of 4 defenders are new..

anyways this years squad is garbage compared to last years, the team was basically gutted and reinforced with a bunch of scrubs from colombia due to incompetence by our FO (bunch of idiots) ..I hope this ass whipping teaches them that owning a football team is not childs play.. you have to invest, invest invest (stop being so damn cheap), but i doubt they'll learn, since this is the way they work the last decade.. (how I wish I had money so I could buy the team from them, bunch of idiots)

sorry for the above rant.. just pissed off at the incompetence by Arabe's front office.. the idiots can't even use their stadium for CCL, cause they too %@% cheap to fix it.. and they're not the only team from Panama's league to act this way.. ALL of them are cheap bastards (except for Sporting SM, but then again their brand-new owner is a Spaniard).

please please I hope a bunch of soccer-knowledgeable foreigners with big pockets come and buy up all the teams in the LPF. it's the only way I see that my league will get better

    LMAO.

You gotta give it to them. The Canucks got you. I just wonder if Cruz Azul is going to be able to survive the improbably run Toronto is making. I never thought I would begin doubting whether CA can make it out of the group.
