Don't really care about him. I personally thought Milan Dudic, Ognjen Koroman had worse world cups at the very least. To call Dado Prso brainless....well is an act of a person who doesn't really think too well
Igor Budan having his best season ever despite his team not doing so good, what do you guys think of him?? is he on the NT?? http://www.goal.com/en-us/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=257961
He was just called up along side new national team player Ante Rukavina. Croats, what is the view on Rukavina? I know all the trivial facts, about his transfer, etc. How good is he?
STJEPAN TOMAS He is a central defender, currently playing for Galatasaray. This season is his 4th in Turkey and he is clearly the best central defender playing in the Turkish Super League. Brilliant anticipation and a good technique for a central defender, he is not very good in aerial balls but his wisdom seems to cover that one flaw of his. He came to Turkey in 2003-2004, on loan from Como to Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray's arch-rivals. He was brilliant there, winning the league title. Fener did not want to buy him from Como ( because he had thrown his shirt on the ground, when he was substituted by Christoph Daum; nearing the end of the season) (stupid fener board) Galatasaray needed a quality DC , so got him for 2004-2005. He formed a good partnership with Rigobert Song ( something which still continues by the way ), but Gala finished third that year due to Hagi's lousy management. Last year was the rebirth of Tomas, who won his second league title in Turkey in 3 years, with 2 different teams. He is totally loved and respected by all the fans in Turkey, even the Fenerbahçe ones. Normally they wd hate a player who has worn their arch-rival's jersey; but Tomas has a great personality and never had problems outside the field, except that shirt-throwing which the press used to create a contraversy. Oh by the way, he has a slight ressemblence to Christian Troy, a character in the Nip/Tuck series
I havent seen him play recently with hajduk, but with sibenik he looked good, but then again being the best player on a mediocre team is questionable
I hear he has been called a player that resembles Thierry Henry, Is this true? Excited about good young talent comming through the Croatian system. A little off topic but are there any rumours surounding Luka Modric and if he will leave Dinamo? (I know he has a massive 10 year contract or so) And about Tudor, I know Toronto FC needs defenders... I can dream right??
rukavina is still very young and has the potential to become a good player, but i hope they let him mature slowly and not pressure him way too much modric has signed the long-ass contract but i think that has more to do with pleasing the fans by commiting his loyalty to the club, than anything else, dinamo may sell him but the are holding up high price tag for all their youngsters (da silva, modric and corluka), they are making a big push to make something happen in europe, but i have a feeling if they dont make it they may start selling them in thr winter window tudor to tfc would be pretty sweet, i already got my ticket for the homeopener
Dado Prso will leave rangers at end of season http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/r/rangers/6507141.stm
You can have him the kid doesn't love Croatia! But Croatia has the best defender in the world that was born in Australia: Simunic and he's our and you can nothing do against that
