I had never been to the Empire State Building, it just seemed like a good answer. This is SheepLeague, not "be honest about how you feel and where you have been" lol.
And yet the most popular answer (Brian West) was a player whose last Crew season was 2003. Jacob Thomas was here in 2006 and 2007. I don't think it's a question of memory, however I was worried people would not remember Brian West.
I figured the ones that hadn't gone might go for the tallest building in the USA before 9/11 happened. Or at least more than 2...
Reminder: this will be the final week of Crew Sheep League Season VII There will be a Crew Champions League in December.
It's a tough call to make, when pondering in a sheepish manner. For me it boiled down to still remembering several moments that West had on the field (including a late-game winner in LA). While I remember one nice cross and header that Thomas and Gaven linked up for, my only other lasting impressions of Thomas as a player involve his speed and inability to stay healthy.
It was a difficult question to be sure. I also considered selecting Stern John, who only got one vote.
