Viana scored on a headed corner kick in about the fifth minute, but also butted heads with Marshall. I'm afraid to ask . . .
I know it would make the team worse but I was ready for him to retire last year; he's just had too many concussions. I hope he's fine and plays all season and I look like I worry too much but it's enough for me.
Is the big striker Dennis Chin playing for Orlando? Seems like an interesting prospect player. Sorry, hadn't realized he was already 25. I can't get the stream to work for some reason.
GOOOAAAK! Williams from Higuain corner. Finally, some serious effort. I don't care if we're playing a D3 team, effort is key. Two subs, Tchani and George for Viana and Sanchez.
Warzycha may want to keep video of this match around to show the guys (maybe as a double feature with last year's DDL debacle) before the Third Round Open Cup match on May 28th. Let them know they can't afford to slack off against a lower division side if they want to win.
Fred-dy! Hig-ua-in! Fred-dy! Hig-ua-in! Fred-dy! Hig-ua!Fred-dy! Hig-ua!Fred-dy! Hig-ua-in! Fear the Fred-dy! HIG-UA-IN!!!
Hebrew Hammer saves the three points! Full Time! 3-2 Crew! Bring on Impact Montreal Impact and their goons, er, supporters! We want the Ears! We want the Ears! We want the Ears! We want the Ears!
As someone who had a TBI a few years ago I would be totally supportive of Marshall if he decided to step away from the game regardless of the effect on the team
Well, per the piece on the Crew site, Marshall got hit in the jaw, not the temple or what most would consider the noggin'. No concussion issues at all according to RW. So, while the OH, S%!#! reactions are understandable, I think we can put off retirement talk for now. http://www.thecrew.com/news/2013/02/preseason-match-6-crew-3-orlando-city-2
Heading to Orlando on Friday. Securing the 8:00 game makes it so much easier for me and my boy to swing over to catch the game. $20/ticket with free parking - reasonable.
We're the bestest preseasonest team ever! A shoo-in to win the Reserve League! What's that? We play the Dayton Dutch Lions twice? Damn you, cruel fate! Damn you to hell! From what I've seen, it's on ESPN3. I don't think ESPN would give the rights away to Fox, but I could be wrong.
