That's so great for a non-league team. It's looking very likely that Crawley will go up to League 2 this year, and are finally entering a period of financial stability. I hope they give Man Utd a run for their money, and even though they'll almost definitely lose, it'll give them a nice pay day and some good exposure.

I like it when the little guys do well like this. I hope they and AFC Wimbledon come up out of the Conference this year.

The draw's gotta be rigged. I seriously doubt this could be a coincidence considering the backstory's of these two clubs (one being top of the table in the premier league, one being the last team left from conference national) and the fact that this game happens to be at Manchester instead of Crawley.

Crawley would want it that way....they get 1/2 the gate receipts which figure to be a tad more than if they had been drawn at home...

By financial stability I assume you mean having money pumped into the club a la Chelsea? They spent £250k on one player in January - we're trying to get into the Premier League and that would signify a fairly substantial outlay for us.

Plus there's Steve Evans, a thoroughly detestable man who should never have been given another job in football after his behaviour at Boston.

Interesting story but well even if the teams administrators and coach are bad people doesnt mean that the players are,but lets see what happens in that game
