That was not a red card at all. Plenty of times players raise their feet to control the ball and if everytime a player raising their feet gets red card then players like Pepe, Arbeloa And Alonso will have a field day as they will just run towards these players to get them sent off. If you think that was a red card then overhead kicks should be completely wiped off of Football.

To be honest I've always hated Roy Keane (and Man Utd for that matter) but as a pundit you can't fault him, also he is the only person in the British media who is not afraid of red nose or goes along with all the arse licking gets.

If Pepe would have gone for Nani that way Ferguson would have invaded the pitch. You'll have to agree with that. I agree that i first thought it was a yellow card, but you are allowed to give a red card for that as well. It's an arguable decision.

I can't see how anyone can think that's a red. Nani had his eye on the ball and Arbeloa came from the blind side. That is a perfectly normal move to bring a ball come over the top of your shoulder. There was no malicious intent.

That's the point, it was a wreckless challenge which he didn't need to make. Anyway, that's it for me for tonight, I just want us to hammer Milan next week.
