    Had a blast!

Thanks to all the Screaming Eagles and other DC fans who made the excursion to Cowlumbus memorable. The match may not quite have lived up to expectations, but the company certainly did. As soon as I recover, I will post more pics from the trek.

Hope everyone made it back safe and sound!

Given their humble beginnings and thirst for power, it was bound to happen.

From my "seat" I could only see the "EAGLES" banner - it wasn't until halftime, from under the stands, that I was able to see the "SCREAMING" one :)

The second batch of pics from the roadtrip are finally up (just click on the pic):

It wasn't until I started going through the pictures that it dawned on me how wide a range of ages managed to make it out to Columbus. I think that is a tremendous sign for both the club and away support for the season.

Now, if we could only begin attending to that win column in the standings...

I am glad to see some people hit Keegan's. It was nice of him to keep it open. Me, I sat in the hotel room and drank and watched Jess and Susan flirt out their back window.

And another superb batch of pics. And as far of the age difference, what do college kids have to do on their weekends? Get drunk? Why not do it with good company!

Actually, the college crowd was smack in the middle of the age range I was referring to ;)

Nick, good to meet you. Glad you had a good time at the match despite the result. Welcome to the SEs. I hope to see you again, either at RFK or during another road trip.

    My pleasure!

Great meeting you and see you in New England - or Toronto if you can get off base again that soon... and yes, Keegan's definitely was just what we needed to finish off the night on the right note!

All I have to say is...we had better kill NE noight! I have to go back to work up there in Boston and simply want to give the stupid Revs fans a hard time.

Why am I holding a beer in every picture...oh ya we lost and drinking always helps.
