i was rooting for them all game, but now i'm having second thoughts. if they actually win a trophy this year... well i'm sorry, there's just something about that i can't get my head around.
RENNES IS OUT CLASSING MONTPELLIER FOR ME ITS SIMPLE RENNES IS A BETTER TEAM THIS YEAR THAN LAST YEAR CHAMPS MONTPELLIER
I forgot the word "game" in my previous message Anyway, the fans of both Saint-Etienne and Rennes invaded the pitch after their victory. Both semi-finals were entertaining and with a good atmosphere. It'll be an interesting final.
Euh, youpi ! Glad with the result and with the fashion it was obtained ; some very decent things were displayed even if once again it wasn't really "un match plein".
Saint-Etienne did really well last time (2009) they played in the Uefa cup/Europa League, won the group ahead of Valencia, FCK & Club Brugge, crushed Olympiakos in the first knock out stage and then lost in a close tie to Werder Bremen. Had a pretty great set of forwards for that run too, Gomis, Payet, Miralles & Ilan. Would be nice to see if they can string together something similar next season, though it looks like they will lose Aubameyang and perhaps Zouma in the summer.
We want a title ! Chances are that Rennes will be in Europaleague anyway.... To be fair, last time around, they had some good performances in a tough Champions League like group but the results were poor, it has to be said.
Ahem... Un seul être vous manque et tout est dépeuplé... This team is indeed a good case for collective psychological studies.
i also thought it was a good game, stadium was packed, good atmosphere from the fans, some bad defending from both teams but overall it was a good final
it was a good game. and bordeaux won the gambardella too so it was a good season for the club all in all the answer is as simple as the result is ugly: their main sponsor is evian-danone, which kind of gets a twofer by using the name danone and the color scheme of evian.
