Too funny. What is it like to defend Cosmos night and day on BigSoccer? Do you wear a cape by chance?

    Great mock jersey.

Kansas City is on the low end most likely with $2.5 million a year (financial services company) and the Galaxy's deal with a MTL firm exceeds four million a year.

    So, you would be wrong.

He is a busy guy. This is only his side job. He works full time for the Bigfoot Research Institute. They have a theory that Bigfoot has remained hidden in the woods all these years, because if they were to go into zoos, they would lose control over their contracts, media revenue, and branding rights.:D

Considering BigSoccer is full of rubes and fools, as you can guess... its a constant struggle.

Right...because the idea the Cosmos are paying someone to be their shirt sponsor is completely credible.

Self awareness isn't a strong suit I suppose.

Regardless of that debates validity, it doesn't change the fact that Cosmos are no where near in the league of the other sponsors. Thats where this discussion comes from. I hope thats its not some derpy "Cosmos are paying Emirates" but I cannot imagine that Emirates are paying much at all to put their logo on the Cosmos jersey.

I doubt we ever learn the amount. It will probably not be made public. If they got $250,000 I would think that would be generous.

I wonder if Nike is paying them anything or is it just a free kit deal.

I'm gonna put my bet on something in the realm of a 3 year $300,000 deal. 100k a year should be a reasonable deal. I agree though that we'll probably never know the amount of the deal.

This article also mentions the Emirates sponsorship is $1million a year for 3 years.

For a guy that always is running around talking smack about the Cosmos, you sure are wrong about them an awful lot. I see you never really owned up to being miles off base in this thread,

    1. Claimed local insignificant sponsor...
    2. Claimed 100K a year at best deal from Emirates and even casually suggested Cosmos are paying THEM!

They inked one of the worlds biggest soccer sponsors (who also are bankrolling the Dubai trip and deals) and getting 10 times annually what you claimed they would. Essentially almost paying for their entire roster wages with the kit sponsor deal alone

Looking forward to your predictions on the stadium and Raul.

Thank you for contributing to BS and rehashing debates from last year. You put him in his place.

I'm not debating anything..just pointing out how a certain non cosmos fan who trolls here was wrong and never came back to own it. There really is no debate, just shame.

I recommend talking about the Cosmos in general and specifically and worrying less about non-believers, trolls or winning a debate.

It also helps with blood pressure.

I don't really think he is a troll (really just a skeptical guy offering a more pessimistic viewpoint or being critical), but what do i know apparently according to Soccer Billy a troll is pretty much anyone posting in a forum who is not a fan of the team in that forum.

I don't need to "win the debate" it was won when the deal was announced. But it is still satisfying to point it out again.

Yes, I was wrong, it happens. Did you really have to bring a thread back from the dead to prove a point though? Seems silly and pointless to me.

Since we know who the shirt provider is and now its just mindless bickering, thread closed. Lets revisit in 2 years.
