Im actually worried about this game. We looked extremely tired last night midway through the first half! We need to get back the intensity and hunger that helped us destroy Milan. If we play like we did in the first 20 minutes last night for longer periods we should be comfortable.

Destro can't do worse than Osvaldo did yesterday.

how come for all the matches either Osvaldo or Destro is a scapegoat for you? For me both do very well in the matched they play in terms of chances they create and often times by themselves...It's definitely not fair to say "cannot do worse than Osvaldo", as Osvaldo did nothing to be regarded as "worse than"...And even Destro has done nothing that bad in the matches he has played...Yes, they have failed to score most of the time, but the other day (if luck turns to Rome again) they may score 5...By the way Osvaldo did put the ball in the net today, if not the dubious off-side decision

If Osvaldo had Destro's off-the-ball movement, and Destro had Osvaldo's finishing we'd have a killer prima punta...

...And if we had a clutch forward to score those goals when it mattered we'd be fighting second place... for me this clutch player was Borini (but pointless arguing that as he's gone) — currently we don't have an alternative to these two guys, and despite our depth in attack I feel we lack an alternative, as they are both very square in terms of their roles, Borini was as versatile as they come.

Finally, what the f*ck is up with this club and Marquinho?????? He's proved he is that kind of clutch supersub (though not a forward), yet he isn't used? I would have preferred him over Tachtsidis yesterday.

    Destro vs Osvaldo:
Destro is faster, has more stamina and can constantly press the opponents
Osvaldo has more technique, better passing and finishing skills

    Destro is poor at finishing
Osvaldo is poor at pressing the opposition and tires in about 60-70 minutes

Solution? Start Destro for the first half to tire the opposition and maybe score a goal from the numerous chances he has, and replace him for Osvaldo for the second half who will play against a more tired opposition....

Almost all of the team played like crap, yet some people love to turn it into a Destro Osvaldo argument at every chance which is laughable. Of all the under performing areas, last night was probably the midfield that killed the game. Its just not working

What we want is to get into the final and secure a place in Europa league(even if we lose). We want to be at least runner up cuz even if Lazio wins they will surely finish in 2nd or 3rd in Serie A.

I think we were just tired, and this scares me, Balzaretti looked totally out of wind towards the end, sh*t, aside from Piris and Bradley, the entire team did.

I'm quite scared of this game Wednesday on pure fatigue, but then again it's Roma, we have terrible result when we should have good ones, and when we should lose we win, so DAJE ROMA!

PS. I still blame Mickey Mouse for our fitness over the Winter break.

Inter also played 120 minutes against Bologna. They also compete in EL. If fatigue is big issue against them, then we should definitely be outside the Europe. No room in big leagues for teams that are winded by playing once or occasionally twice a week.
