Should go back and watch. Even though Italy lost badly in the final it was an entertaining tournament. Honestly it was better than the World Cup, so many interesting matches. Italy v Germany was hands down the best match I saw in 2012.
i saw ext highlights of matches i wanted to watch. but they don't show stuff like de rossi's half sleeves italy v germany is always personal for me since i'm mixed italian/german. my pops made me rewatch that match with him 2-3x already i agree, the euro tournaments are always better than the WC tournaments. euro 2008 is one of my favorite all time tournaments

I still think DDR plays way too slowly at regista. Just about every time he got the ball last night our tempo slowed down. I don't think we played exceptionally well, but lucked out with Atalanta's defensive/keeper mistakes.
Me either but I think we caused most of our own problems because we never really got out of 1st gear. The first 20 minutes or so we looked alright, moved the ball around well. After we scored two you can see the players start to relax. The nature of the goals probably contributed.
