Okay. So far looks like Juventus's plan is too keep looking for long balls. Not playing through midfield at all. Just the three centrebacks passing it between themselves and then long ball.
When you have Isla and Peluso on the outside, the midfield becomes severely limited. Chiellini has been shaky in the back as well.
Everything for Roma is coming from the Juventus's left flank. Maicon and Gervinho are putting a lot of dangerous balls in the box. Peluso is leaving Chiellini too exposed. It is two on one most of the time. EDIT: HT Roma 0-0 Juventus. A damning statistic came up with Juventus with 0 shots on target and 0 shots off target. This is terrible. The midfield are not in the game. Pirlo is a total passenger so far. Peluso has been dreadful. Surely Conte has to make changes. This is horrible.
First half thoughts, wow, I'm genuinely surprised Roma has scored. I think that's more on their offense than our defense though. Our midfield is bad, like really bad. Peluso and Isla offer absolutely NOTHING to the game. Pirlo is sitting so far back that he's been ineffective for the most part. Our defense, looks a bit shaky out there, and they're passing the ball back and forth WAY TOO MUCH. Other than that, despite Roma's dominance they haven't done shit really. Their two most dangerous plays result in nobody in the box to put the ball away.
