My bad, it's on beIN Sport (channel 620 on DirecTV) at 12:30 am not 9pm EST. So if you're west coast it might actually be 9:30pm your time.

No clue if the Spanish version will show it again, they were showing it live.

Oh and I saw some highlights. Mexes should have pissed right off and been shown at least a second yellow. He deserved to be booted from the game.

That Giovinco goal is what they call "alla Del Piero", right?

I'd take Giovinco over Vucinic any day.

Looks like you'd also take a tie as well then. :p

Gio is good, just cant step up to Mirko though. Not strong or decisive enough.

I'd rather have Giovinco trying to thread the ball all day than Vucinic trying to hit the goal. He's the worst finisher in the league.

I wouldn't have Vucinic as a finisher on my team either. As that is not what he is good at.

He's not much of a passer either. Giovinco is our second best passer.

lol. stop it duck. Vucinic is our best creator, passing is included in that. Thats why hes our key man. At least according to Conte unless hes trolling us by making Mirko seem like the most important piece to our game. ;) Cant wait til we get Llorente/Drogba. All of Mirko's magic is finally going to start getting put away.

I'm dead serious. Watch Gio passing the ball. Always ahead of the player, not straight at them or behind. Which is the most common mistake players make. Giovinco is a fantastic passer. He just tries to be too smart sometimes. With great finishers around him Giovinco would average 20 assists a season.

I think Giovinco needs some more upper body muscle to fulfill his potential.

I don't think that's the problem. I bet he could beat Messi's ass.

Well that's gonna happen sometimes. He's not an elite player and struggle with consistency. I still think he's good enough for a key role on this team. Especially considering the options. Yikes.

I think the only attackers that have a guaranteed role in this team are Mirko and Gio. the rest are expendable. Vucinic and Gio will be our support strikers for years to come. Vucinic/Gio-Jovetic/Llorente. haha. that would be a dream.

First pair: Giovinco, Cavani. Second pair: Vucinic, Boakye. Let the drooling commence.
