Goal.com has Pepe on the bench for that match?!?
Can that possibly be true? Was it just to fill out the numbers even though he's injured? It's goal.com, I know...

Pepe wasn't on the bench. That was just a mistake by Goal.com.

I wonder why Caceres didn't play. Are we grooming Marrone to be a center back or a midfielder? If he's going to be a midfielder, why not swap Marrone for Giaccherini and put Caceres at center back? No sense putting Vidal in there as he was just coming off of injury a few days ago.

Also, this team needs center back depth badly.

Maybe Marrone will play Sunday for the suspended Bonucci.

I'm on a drug called Antonio Conte.
    It's not available.

yea looks like they're grooming marrone to be a ball playing CB which is what bonucci is doin and he sucks at it at times his long balls to nowhere and dangerous passes. Marrone is def. a better ball handler so he will do that job very well in the future. However im not sure if that is what he wants or not. It'll be good if we let him do both so he will be flexible.

Marrone needs more time on the pitch. He's really good. If he stays, which I can assume he will as long as Conte is around, he will eventually be a starter.

I'd say there's less than 5% chance Marrone will be a consistent starter for this team.

crap as usual. This guy has NO skills on the ball, he's good in the air prob which works if you're in EPL where they cross the ball a million times and half the goals are deflections. I really hope we get rid of him as soon as possible. This guy would at most score 1 or 2 goals for us...to me its not worth playing him.

Hmm, seems to be the opposite of what I've read elsewhere.

The game was on tape delay on beIN, but I couldn't be bothered. Once I saw that we squeaked by Cagliari's B team I lost all interest in watching it.

Blasphemy! Other than when they said Messi was going to sign for us, what else have they ever gotten wrong?

Marrone should be given a shot. Lord knows how many chances Bonucci has been given, mistake after mistake.

Bonucci has been one of Juves best players the last six months.

But he did stop that mugger. Oh, and he got into that bar fight.

With regards to Marrone, if he was being groomed as a center back, we should've sent him out on loan to get playing time as a center back. Instead, he's just riding the pine for us, playing in Coppa Italia matches. He's got a lot of talent. He needs to be playing.

Yup, something about two B teams playing doesn't get me riled up. Amish Mafia was on man.

I tried to find a stream of beIN last night to watch it, but I couldn't find one, so I essentially watched the same thing in a Mansfield Town vs. Lincoln City FA Cup match.

    I think I may have a problem.
