You miss my point. I'm just saying that Tigre is not known as one of the "tough" teams in terms of barras and it's in a nicer neighborhood so their fans tend to be a bit less "heavy". I'm not arguing about what happened in Sao Paulo. I'm sure that you see the incident one way as a Brazilian, but I can guarantee you that the hinchada of a team like Huracan would see it quite differently.

It's a bit myopic to say one sees differently according to nationality. I quoted Argentines who take SPFC's version of the events.

Tigre's fans are less heavy? Well perhaps the players should restrain from "pegar codazos" and focus more on actually playing the game. I hope they learned this for next year.

If we gonna have Libertadores finals in 17 y 24 de julio and space to play the Recopa Sudamericana 2013 brwteen Sao Paulo VS Corinthias both that play too the Libertadores also Sap paulo travel to Japan to play the Suruga bank Cup... do we gonna have space to another 47 Copa Sudamericana?
My recomendation is a 32 Team Copa Sudamericana, 3 team for country, a 4th brazilian and Sao Paulo last champion.

Muy buen nivel del duelo Liga - Gremio. Estos dos equipos son fuertes, tácticos, de buena defensa y mediocampos rápidos. Gremio se aclimatizó por 10 días. Dominaron todo el primer tiempo y el segundo hasta que el cerebro de Liga, Luisfer Saritama, ingresó y le cambio el rostro al encuentro.

1-0 ganan los locales. Vale decir que se salvaron de media docena de goles. Malhadado Gremio.

Congratulations, Bolivar!

You lost but you did it without resorting to violence, barbarism and foul play. You never once gave up and I applaud that. Losing like men is always better than losing like perras.

I saw an Argentine team abandon and run away from a beating...that will never be erased.

I also saw Argentine players trying to fight the military police because in Rio da Prata they are used to being able to hit authority figures, turn off the lights at stadiums, create violence artificially and kills fans without penalties.

Once again...great job, Bolivar!

Iquique no sólo no había ganado ningún partido en pretemporada, sino que no había ningún gol en los amistosos de verano Por fin anotaron un gol anoche, y van invictos en su breve historia en las Copas Libertadores.

Los equipos bolivianos salen a la cancha derrotados ya. Peor contra equipos brasileños. Por eso fue una grata sorpresa el año pasado cuando el Bolívar salía a jugarle a todo el mundo de igual a igual. Hoyos trabajó bien la mentalidad.

I dont disagree. I wish we could get Hoyos back...he had us feel like winners, and had a team that actually played well together. This team now is a weaker version, because when Hoyos left, he took bunch of players with him.

This Bolivar team....is bad! Struggled all season to get as far as they did.... i blame the Spaniard coach, Miguel Portugal. Anyways, don't even expect us to win at home...will be rootign for Gremio though. They have Marcelo Moreno, and didn't look too bad!

I tend to agree. They're the best country by far, soccer wise in SA right now....

But why are the ALWAY matched up wtih Bolivian clubs?? I think it's no coincidence.... we're last place in ranking in SA... I think it's some 'fixing' going on...

Defensor Sporting vs. Olimpia tonight.

How good is this current Olimpia? They’re the only Paraguayan team ever to win the Libertadores (and they have a good record: 3 trophies).

I know nothing about Defensor Sporting other than they wear purple – and that in 2009, they eliminated Boca Juniors in Argentina.
