I think overall Cuenca showed that they could be a strong opposition and that neither Lanús or Estudiantes was going to make it through easily. At last i believe Estudiantes' white socks gave'em bad luck, that's why they didn't want to wear them, hahaha.

Yeah, that whole spectacle before the game started seemed rather odd. I kept thinking to have the game start later than it was supposed to (something typical in a game of this relevance) but then I realized that any mufa could be potentially worse for any team. :D

It looks good for San Lorenzo so far. They should get through.

Cruzeiro's first team is getting killed in the altitude.

Didn't even know Cruzeiro was playing!

Shame on Caracas. I really thought they'd be able to make it... but what a comeback for San Lorenzo.

San Lorenzo dropped their regular ticket price by a 1/3 and it's paying off, looks like a packed house and that are right now witnessing Caracas self destruct.

I cant see Santos scoring, Cucuta just got wayyy too many players in the back.

EDIT: And as I write that, Santos scored lol

Flamengo, Cruzeiro, Fluminense, and now Santos have advanced to the round of 16.

It's up to my SPFC to make it 5 for 5 next week.

Yeah. And so far they are the only Argentine team that is eliminated. Lanus, Estudiantes, San Lorenzo are through.

Lets hope Boca makes it and River chokes. Although, the path looks much easier for River right now.

    San Lorenzo 3-0 CaracasFC

    No surprise,
San Lorenzo has won about 6 games in a row in Argentina
and CaracasFC hasn't been playing good lately in the national championship or in Copa Libertadores.

CaracasFC played like s..t, only played good for about 10 minutes.
That, added to the dumb mistakes in defense, gave the game to San Lorenzo

Altitude ... I'm saying man, it's not fair, it's not fair ... someone might say "they didn't have prepared themselves to play at the altitude", but for me, when teams are forced to prepare themselves beforehand to play over there is already unfair.

Latin Pride: do you think that Potosi winning Cruzeiro 5x1 has nothing to do with altitude ?

Go away, San Lorenzo made a come back in the altitude after being down 2-0.

Wow Cúcuta didn't play that bad yesterday but still Santos got a well deserved victory and as it was expected Chivas defeated San José. Cúcuta looks strong for the next round.

At last Arsenal could get a victory at away ground, however too late.

For tonight, i think River has it easier than América who will visit Católica, that won't be easy also considering that Católica could have some chances to qualify, but i think that they have to score like 3 goals?

I wonder what will be of Fluminense-LDUQ since both are qualified already i wonder if they'll really bother with this game.

they'll probably play reserves and play all out to try and get the first place so they get to play the second leg of the next round at home

Cucuta looks good, but Santos is not impressive. Kleber is a one man crew, they showed little else.

If Catolica wins 3-0 tonight and qualifies to the next round I'll buy their jersey. :D

No way that's gonna happen though.

If San Martin beats River tonight and eliminates them, I'll buy their jersey.

Do they even sell San Martin's jersey anywhere?
