Typical Copa match. Ugly. Sloppy. Not much to get excited about. Top class players lowering down to their level of competition. Ugh.

It's also the only chance you get to see some of the youth team products before they move on to successful careers at other clubs. I like some of these kids and fail to see why they don't get more minutes with the first team especially given that players like Kaka and Carvalho are not even considered for action.

Yeah, because these kids surely are lighting up this game. From what i have seen, its no wonder they don't get a mention.

First half to match the rest of them this season. Mou's look says it all.

It's a training game. They need to score 4 goals to have a shot. It's over, so Mou is just experimenting here. Second half, two goals just for kicks and this is done.

Ozil retaliating. He really shouldn't be on the field.
Denis gets a FK, not a foul though.

Yeah poor Mourinho. When he doesn't have a team loaded with world class talent suddenly his managerial skill seem ordinary. "Okay guys I want you all to stand around the box and block the goal, if you get the ball kick it as far up field as possible and the first three guys to the half field line can try to make a counterattack to score a goal. Damnit, Mezut I thought I told you only the first three could try and make a goal do you think you are Cristiano or something. Everyone else has to follow the rules.

I think considering the team that was fielded we are doing alright. I expect more in the second half we are playing at home after all.

A bit better just then, Denis and Morata linking up.

If only that was the trend. Nice finish though. Good work from Benz and Callejon.

He's been pretty poor. Oddly enough, Carvalho has been the best player out there.
Hope playing the full 90' doesn't weigh on Coentrao too much, we need him to be sharp this weekend.

Angel off the bar, good to see him use the right.

With Luka, Ozil, and Coentrao playing all 90', I'm real curious to see if Kaka gets the nod against Atletico.

Jose Rodriguez with a very nice tackle.

Is that the Guti pass that Mezut makes us all wait for. Is it worth it?

Problems solved. Looks like we've got a new starting front four. Benz, Ozil, Dimaria, Callejon.

Callejon yelling for the others to come and applaud the fans, good man.
Rodriguez another promising showing, and the subs made the difference.
