damn straight. go for the kill. destroy the nads and make them cry tears.

So much trash talk from the nads. I remember one was like "We need to one to shut them up about 2009 and put them in their place."

I was like, f*ck you dude lol.

    Mexico 2-0 baby!!!!! :D

I hope our players sleep all day for the next 3 days and eat a buffet of carbohydrate rich food. :D

    Let's get it done.

    -----Talavera----
    -----------------
    ---Juarez---Rafa---Moreno---Salcido---
    -----------------
    ---Torrado---Zavala---
    -----------------
    ---Gio---Aldo---Guardado---
    -----------------
    ------Chicharito-------

We need height, hence Zavala. Also a curveball on Bradley. Maza you will be missed.

I think playing like Panama as unpopular as it is with our better personal would get us a result. Rafa's slowness is worrying. I'm sure they've been resting Landy just for this.

I almost think we should play with a backline of 5 with Torres Nilo as a sweeper to protect Rafa's back.

    Barrera as super sub.

The late starts are bit worrying. I would be tempted to use Aldo as a starter but I think he works better as a second half sub. There is no question by now that Aldo has earned his keep and has had a stellar tournament. Also Chicharito with his tendency to make some funky ass goals. He missed a few clear chances but he always manages to put one in.

If we put in our chances early we got the game against the Yanks. However, if it drags on all it takes is one mistake and it could cost us dearly.

I honestly think that the US defense has yet to be really tested by offensive players the likes of Mexican team; on top of that their defense has looked quite lackadaisical and slow. Our defense is experienced and have played together for a while so we have that going for us on top of a great offense. I honestly wouldn't put in Aldo as a starter, don't get me wrong it is incredibly tempting, he has done his role a sub quite well knocking in goals, holding the ball well and doing some really good defensive dirty work too.

Vamos! A callar bocas y a romper madres!

I am a bit worried about this final. The US always plays us tough when they are underdogs, they love and relish that role and it motivates them.

Also concerned our players are getting super tired. Chicharito and Gio have been missing easy chances and that can only be attributed to how many minutes they have played in this cup so far.

Lastly concerned about Guardado and Salcido being injured. I like Torres Nilo but he does not have the experience at the international level yet and he is a penalty waiting to happen.

I think we will miss Maza in this game.

    alot of questions

    1. can guardado recover?
    2. is salcido fit to get a start?
    3. Gio is not a 10, hes a winger
    4. do you start aldo?

If guardado cant go i would start reyna behind chicharo and move gio to a wing, reyna is much better with both feet and is a much better decision maker than gio. Keep Aldo as super sub. I liked what i saw from torres nilo tonight, but i still take a fit salcido over him. Barrera makes alot of mistakes but he is also our most adventurous player on offense. I think the nads are succeptable to those kinds of players.

    -------------------Talavera---------------------

    ---Juarez----Rafa-----------Moreno-------Salcido-

    -------------Castro-----------Torrado-------------

    -----Barrera------------------------Gio/Guardado

    --------------------Reyna--------------------

    -------------------Chicharo------------------------

subs -Aldo for castro or one of guardado, gio, reyna, barrera
    - 2 defensive subs when necessary

If everyone is fit, chep will go with the same lineup, even though we play better after subs.

Moreno and Marquez need to be sharper on their long passes a good one will catch the Yank defense flatfooted.

How stupid to have a final in 3 days. It would make more sense to allow a week of rest to have a more intense final.

    sub.

If we score early the game will open, if not prepare your self for more of the same we had with Guatemala and Honduras.

I hope Salcido and Guardado are 100% for the final. they were missed in the 2nd half once they got taken out.

eitherway, I feel we have a stronger team and think we can take this game in regular time. the Nads have been pretty mediocre and were pretty lucky in the last 2 games.

First off, I think in honor of recent nad shenanigans we need to change the title of this thread to.

MEXICO vs EEUU - home field advantage en todos locales, haha

Anyways, Im really hoping Guardado and Salcido are ok, anybody have any updates?

Im not really worried about the nads, I think they have a similar style of play to Honduras, and our defense held against their chances. however as stated above their defense seems slow and I think that our attacking group can take advantage of it with our speed and counter

anyways, Im hoping for a ticked to Copa Confederaciones

    CHIN....

well its is left ankle, while that is his "natural foot" its not so much of a concern as if it would have been his plant foot.

I noticed when I played competitively that if my plant foot was injured I couldnt strike the ball as well.

hopefully he is better by saturday
