Some players are missing, because of injuries such as ponce y pulido.

how long is pulido out for? cuz dude seems like a solid striker and has more playing time then arce or amione,,btw will there be any refuerzos above the age of 23 joing the squad?

This is just a mini camp and no their is no refurzos above the age of 23 joining this squad for olympic qualifying. I wish they added more Tigres players such as navarro and duenas, much better than calderon and brizuela.

am i the only one dissapointed that america and our seleccion are wasting Diego reyes talent as a midfielder by putting him as a lb?

From what I have seen of him (and admittedly not much) he is a WAY BETTER midfielder. I've wondered the same thing.

Imagine Corona in goal, Hector Moreno in defense, and Chicharito up top as our 3 overage along with Vela and Gio ....damn we could make a real run at the Olympics!!

I wouldn't take a goalie, as I think Liborio Sanchez is doing very well and can handle the duties. But I agree on the other 2.

I would use Andres Guardado-Technical ability,pace,vision,passing and experience.

guardado would be a good choice but we dont need him if vela is gonna go, its like u said, liborio can handle his own so corona shudnt be called up

id take Cheech or Peralta, Moreno, and either Another Defender or Zavala or Torrado

im salivating in my mouth just thinking the chance of seeing Vela, Fabian, Cheech, Gio being our offensive punch at the Olys! that could be our Senior offensive punch!

yea pulido is back, now if we can just get ponce back from injury.

There is going to be another call up next week also, because they play feb 22th against neza.

this is the Call-Up for next week. The Camp starts Sunday night and runs until the 22 when they play Neza. Then I'm guessing that either the following Thursday or Friday Tena will announce yet another Call-Up this time with Chivas and Cruz Azul players so that they can get together, train for a few days and then fly to Frisco to play the U.S. U-23 and from there we'll get the final Roster for Olympic Qualifiers.
