Amazing how fast has Venezuela grown. They're overdue to go to their first World Cup finals.

our problem is the defence, if those 2 spanish dudes born in Venezuela fnally come to play for us and we manage to have a decent defence i think we can give some surprises in copa America cause we have very nice players in the midfield and forward areas, also the new gk Dani Hernandez its pure class shame he didn't come to the last 2 games...

Completely disagree with that comment, Paraguay has players all over the world, if anything alot more then Ecuador and about as many as Colombia and Chile.

Brasil, Argentina, and Uruguay are the only countries in SA that truly export more players worldwide.

As far as Venezuela they looked good yesterday, hopefully noone looks over them at the CA because a weak team they are not. They have come a long way in the past years and continue to grow.

Usually I don't need to look at the starting line up or the list of players being called , to have that same feeling LOL.

Is funny how I see everyone exited when they announce a friendly game and the first thing that comes to my mind is " Oohhh noooo here we go again" and that's no matter who we play.

It was very nice to win a Friendly game for a change even if it wasn't pretty.

Much respect to Paraguay, one of my fave teams to watch (I can appreciate good tactics, and when Paraguay actually cares about a game, the tactics are excellent), but I don't think you have as many players in Europe, actively playing, as the other teams I named.

At least not in a whole pool. For midfield, for example, I cannot think of replacements for Riveros and Molinas who play outside Paraguay and who are (right now) better alternatives.

Suyuntuy, my friend, Paraguay has hundreds of players playing outside of their country, and if you want to make a ranking among who has more players playing out of their own country, among CONMEBOL nations, it is very likely that after Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay, who has the most of them is Paraguay very far away with whom comes in 5th. Many of them play in the rest of South American countries and Mexico, where lots of them are among the best players in the local leagues, and the rest of them, all dispersed through the whole world.

The whole midfield pretty much plays abroad,

You got guys like Barreto who plays in Italy, Vera in Ecuador, Camacho in Argentina, Perez in Spain, Martinez in Mexico, Estigarribia in Argentina, well you get it.

I wouldn't say any of them are better then Riveros, but better then Molinas definitely.

Cabanas who played in Mexico was better then all the other big name Paraguayan strikers, all who play in Europe.
