Hey guys, I want to say congratulations on your stadium approval. Of the four teams that are to get an MLS team by 2020, I am hopeful that Atlanta and Orlando will be among them. Atlanta for my own personal reasons, but also Orlando because I believe it is a good market in a needed area. And, it also looks like Atlanta will get a team too. Therefore, I would like to propose for us both to begin to highlight this potential rivalry between the two of us. I would like to gather your ideas on creating this rivalry. Hopefully, we could establish a rivalry that would "rival" that of the Pacific Northwest and the NYRB-DC United-Philadelphia Union.
Also a chance of Miami in there... but yes great news for Orlando and I'm hoping they keep the SC first team to use it instead of FC in MLS.
It will be Atlanta-Orlando-Miami. No way Beckham doesn't get in and no way Blank gets denied at this point with the stadium situation all but sorted out.
That's what it will be, its about the 4th team it seems like. I'm thinking: Ottawa, St.Louis, San Antonio, and Detroit those are top choices in my opinion.
hell yeah! Atlanta-Orlando is going to be insane! Shame I won't be in college still when they start playing. I'm perfectly halfway from each right now.
Miami-Orlando rivalry would be way better than Atlanta-Orlando, I heard Atlanta Is a bad sports market as well, so to the forum creator, your opinion is blasphemy!! Miami>Atlanta all day
is the new ATL stadium ITP? Having lived in ATL for more than a decade and now in orlando, it will be low hanging fruit (peaches?) to create disparaging chants about both towns.
Inside the Perimeter. There's a running joke in Atlanta that there are only 2 type of people in the world. Those who live ITP and those who live OTP. They really are like two different cities culturally
No, the block to the north is the C hall of the Georgia World Congress Center. The back up site was the tractor trailer holding yard another block north from that.
