This is why we need to sell Padoin and Pazienza. They are not needed. The deep CM bench spots should go to youngsters.

But, yes, as far as central midfielders, we currently have: Pirlo, Vidal, Marchisio, Asamoah, Isla (he can play centrally as well), Pogba (when his deal is confirmed), Marrone, Padoin, Pazienza, and Giandonato. Going to have to trim that group.

Is he expected to be our 3rd choice GK or will he go out on loan?

He should be our 2nd choice GK,Storari is 35 years old and will retire sooner than Buffon.

No way. Storari is the best backup in Serie A. He may be 35, but he's still got at least 3 good years left.

I can't believe I'm going to type this...

Benvenuto a Juventus, Lucio. In bocca al lupo.

I need to take a shower now.

Who's going to replace Buffon in 2 or 3 years? Storari or Leali ? We should play him in Coppa Italia matches instead of Storari.

Leali should be playing regularly so in three years when Buffon's done he can step in with regular playing time under his belt. Last thing he ends is to languish on a bench.

I never said that Leali shouldn't be given time. (What is it with people putting words in my mouth??) What I said was for THIS COMING YEAR the backup should be Storari. I have more faith in Storari as our 2nd choice keeper for THIS COMING YEAR since Buffon will be the primary keeper for Champions League and big Serie A matches. I'm fine with Leali playing in Coppa matches.

I always liked him. Guy is a major champion but I'm not sure if he has anything left in the tank. I guess we'll see soon enough.

What kind of Juventino likes a filthy Interista like him? Ugh, just thinking about him in our shirt makes me queasy.

Typical Interista. Too good for a mesh shirt and guys in meat coats behind him.

To be fair, he's clearly not an merdista if he's willing to accept a wage reduction in order to play for us. :D

Who wants to take a picture with an Inter player? yuk.

kidding aside he's (was?) a great defender. A beast really. Let's see how he does in training under Conte.

OK, he is one of ours now so benvenuti Lucio. He only played at Inter for a few years. We should be able to live with that as it was post Calciopoli. He did not get the mesh shirt but they did give him a spanking new polo for the interview. The important thing is that he changes that Brazilian mojo at Juve. In boca lupo!

I liked him when he was at Levekeusen and when he won the world cup with Brazil. Thats how far back we were linked with him. Could care less that he played for Inter as long as he helps Juve.

I don't see Buffon being at the top in 3 years, perfect time to bring in his replacement.

yes, but Pirlo was a shit ton of time ago, back then Inter was a non factor :p plus he didn't play much. I just don't like Lucio, regardless how good he is, or was, whatever. Good luck, hope he does well but i'm gonna hate watching his stupid face in our jersey.
As for Cannavaro, he was smart, he said ******** this team that don't appreciate me, i'm going to Juve. BAM, best defender ever.
    ******** Inter :poop:
