That is the whole idea behind co-ownership. It gives a stake to the other club to actually invest in the player. That is not the same with a loan deal where the loanee has nothing to lose.
Yup co ownership is like paying a team to develop your player more or less. I wonder how expensive it would be to run a B team rather than rely on co ownership. Also, I wonder how bottom feeder Serie A teams would feel like losing a ton of talent to Serie A clubs that have B teams. Always thought what would be better for the Club and League

He's wrong. Start him instead of Cassano and you get similar if not better results. But doing so at this point is simply dumb but has nothing to do with Gio's quality.
Its also a very short tournament. You lose favour quickly esp. since it looked like Cassano had a starting spot barring injury or eating too much pasta

I'm sure that I'm in the minority on this, but the name Kwadwo reminds me of the creature "Kuato" from the movie Total Recall.
Both Speak Italian well enough. Passes one of Conte's long list of tests. Ya well those are the types of movies people may actually spend money on in the theatres.
Basically saying we bought them for 18 million but we really paid 9 million. If we want them then we have to buy the other co-ownership half for another 9 million, totaling the original 18 million. I think 18 million for each is steep.
Today's official confirmed transfers: Comings... Nicola Leali moves from Brescia for a fee of € 3.8 million ($4,780,780 US). Leali put pen to paper on a 5 year deal set to expire June 30, 2017.
So, officially, we've brought in Giovinco, Isla, Asamoah, Caceres and Leali, right? Pogba on the way. Mercato off to a great but expensive start. IMO, our too biggest needs, LB and ST, need to be addressed and I hope Beppe will.
where will marrone fit in this team?? seems like we have too many players...i really wanna see him get some real playing time
Lucio has arrived in Turin for a medical ahead of a proposed move to Juventus. The 34-year-old Brazilian will undergo routine tests at the city’s Clinica Fornaca di Sessant and Istituto di Medicina dello Sport medical centres.
