CR GK makes 2 good saves to start the 2nd Half, one of the shots went off the post.

 

Wait so Haiti isn't the worst team of all time and we shouldn't blow up the program, call all our players lazy, and fire Ramos?

 

Haiti shot about 18 yards out skims off the outer post and out for a goal kick. They're taking it to CR the first 15 minutes of this 2nd Half, especially on the counter.

 

Part of me wants Haiti to win. I think they're the better team.

 

Haiti is getting chance after chance, just lacking a little creativity in the final third.

We would just have to tie, and if we lost to CR, then it'll be settled by the tie breakers amongst the 3 teams. Regardless, I don't see Haiti scoring 2 goals in the last couple minutes here.

That Haiti squad is insanely athletic. If I were in charge of a French or Belgian team, I'd be trying to scoop up a bunch of them for my U-20's.

 

Yup. And I'm sure MLS squads were taking notice, or should have been anyway.

People on these boards assumed that Haiti was going to be the same quality as curacao, but they were quite good.

They could easily have gotten a result in either of their games against the US and Costa Rica................and that ain't bad. They should be quite proud of their performance.
