The closest we've come to my favorite character all season. I was tired when I got around to watching the episode and didn't visit this thread because I assumed I hadn't seen it all.
After having just watched the latest episode off of my HD-DVR, I found out that it was the season finale. Hopefully it wasn't the series finale. -G
wait ... what? are you serious? that was the season finale? i thought it was setting up the finale for this week. awwww, now i'm bummed.
I liked the meta-commentary about the show constantly being on the chopping block. "Around here, we call that Wednesday."
It's all over Twitter and at least four cast members (McHale, Jacobs, Jeong and Brown) have already acknowledged its cancellation on their accounts. Thanks Community fans for being the greatest that have ever walked the earth & Thanks @danharmon for letting me be on the coolest show ever.— Joel McHale (@joelmchale) May 9, 2014 464838949492387840 is not a valid tweet id A most heartfelt THANK YOU to all the Community fans. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. My life is so blessed because you're all in it. Chang The World.— Ken Jeong (@kenjeong) May 9, 2014 Welp, the time has come. #Community has been cancelled. Still, FIVE seasons for a bubble show is MIRACULOUS! Much love to you all! :) xoxo— yvette nicole brown (@YNB) May 9, 2014
What makes it worse is the fact that there is a 99.99% chance that the show that replaces it will suck and will do no better ratings wise.
Rather an apt coincidence: with is cancellation, Community ends up with the exact same total amount of episodes as "Newsradio". Another NBC show that did better with critics than with its ratings and inhabited a cousin universe in terms of its quirkiness (especially in the latter seasons).
The ********? I've had a bad couple of weeks and fell behind on several threads and communities I visit. ********ing ******** shit. ******** NBC. ******** them all. They're all ********ers of ********ing ******** ********.
