A couple of very well respected TV journalists say the Harmon/Chase feud had nothing to do with it. - Rape is up 8%.
Did Harmon walk away or did they take the show away from him? The idea of a Harmon-less Community season is very weird. Few recent shows have been as synonymous with their creators, bar perhaps Weiner and "Mad Men" and David Simon for "The Wire".
I get caught up in sports, television and work. It all blurs together. I don't think about days of the week as long as I have reminders. My job is safe. I'm even getting a brand new, larger office with a window. I forgot to go to the meeting about my brand new, larger office with a window.
That final episode could have been a decent series finale. There is a lot to process in those three episodes. That final scene at the end of the Code Monkey-esque episode was in Greendale. [After checking wiki, I see that episode was actually the final production episode]
Harmon said on twitter that this was because of the animation and that they aired in the correct order.
So, I just caught up on the season. Jeepers Peepers, that was some serious television. I'm not even going to try and condense that into a cohesive assessment. But let me just give a shout out to the coked up Sun Chamber Challenge announcer guy. Talk about grabbing your two minutes of fame with both hands and shaking and stirring it. As Martin Tyler would say: "Stupendous!"
