His name was Alex. Of all the theme episodes, I kind of felt that this one depended most on familiarity with the theme (Law & Order). Luckily, I've watched a lot of Law & Order, so I found the little details hysterical.
Apparently he hates acting. He thought the idea of a background cameo was fun initially but the character ended up way more popular than was ever intended.
For some reason I assumed it was. I checked wiki and there are four more episodes left in the season.
There are rumors of Community getting 13 episodes. I'm not sure what to think of that. The past three seasons have been 25, 24, and 22 this season according to wiki. I don't recall how the show was picked up and renewed in the past to get into the 2x episode range. Eighty-some episodes has been good enough for syndication in recent years instead of the magical 100.
"Chuck" initially was renewed for just 13 episodes in its final two seasons. In season 4, they got an extension for an extra 11 episodes mid-season. In season 5, those 13 episodes were it for the series.
I thought so too, since there was two other season finales in that line up. That would of been an amazing finale, leaving that for a cliff hanger would of been superb.
At least they followed up on what I said a few weeks ago... no matter how right Abed is. The past two episodes could have been season finales if not for the reveals at the end.
It's interesting that three of the four half-hour shows during this coming Thursday's (5/17/12) two-hour comedy block will be Community episodes, with the third one being the season finale (the other half-hour show is the season finale of 30 Rock). -G
What's up with Community possibly being moved to Fridays and Dan Harmon NOT returning as showrunner? Does this mean the Chevy Chase feud was real and he won?
