But the move was really about accommodating '30 Rock' and 'Up All Night' (which is a more natural fit on Thursday).

Plus, now that 'Whitney' is going up against 'Survivor' on CBS and 'American Idol'/'X-Factor' on Fox, without 'The Office' providing a lead-in, it's more or less a death sentence. We'll still get the rest of the season of Community, and I'm guessing Sony will try to get another season for the sake of syndication.

 

I'm glad Whitney is getting the death sentence. That show is horrible. I occasionally like Handler. Too bad for her.

 

During NBC's presentation at the TCA over the weekend their president stated categorically the rest of the season will be shown but he still wouldn't confirm another season pick-up.

I was watching the NBA All-Star Game and catching up on things on my DVR and had the Academy Awards on in the background and saw that and was actually laughing my ass off. I couldn't stop laughing to even turn the volume up to hear what was going on. I asked a woman at work who obsesses about the show and she didn't notice it somehow.

 

I think a lot of people just thought he doing funny poses and didn't immediately get that he was making fun of her. Since last night people have figured it out.

 

Had he accepted the award in-character as Dean Pelton (for his work on the Greendale Community College commercial), Twitter would have exploded.

 

Same if he'd accepted for the adapted screenplay of Time Desk.

I didn't know that Jim Rash was part of the Groundlings until I found his wiki page.

 

Would Jim Rash's real name be more appropriate for his Community character than Dean Pelton?

 

I don't know what episodes Megan has written but I'm sure she's talented and funny. However, her twitter is a bit on the boring side.

 

True, but it was awesome when Harmon broke down the timeline story and said it really came from an idea she had

 

Her big writing credit is "Cooperative Calligraphy" (the bottle episode), and Harmon's always had nice things to say about her.
