New blog post up with an attempt at an all-MLS Colombian XI:

I admit I have no idea who should be shoehorned in at right-back - the squad has an abundance of centre backs, no goalkeepers and a lot of attacking midfielders. Anyone else?

LOL at using this pick but not including him in the line-up

Agreed. Montero has been a very potent forward since joining the league. Surprised he wasn't on the list.

Has Perlaza signed with anyone following his release from the Union?

I think Zapata can play right back, though he's better at left.

I wonder if him leaving off Montero was intentional to drum up hits to his blog?

Haha, no, genuinely slipped my mind despite using the pic and mentioning him throughout. If only I had that kind of trolling skill.

Chara's been pretty useless, I think Castrillon can be switched with him.

Castrillon should be switched with Cardenas. Neither Cardenas nor Chara produce much in the way of assits or goals, but Chara is the more skillful and intelligent player.

Is Juan Pablo Ángel (Chivas USA) going to retire now or will he come back next year?

I might take the Colombia best 11 against the American Best 11.
