Khune como arquero es talentoso y increiblemente flexible. Ecentrico tambien.

La defensa es mediocre.

Delanteros es su peor area, en contradiccion con el equipo pasado. Benni McCarthy su mejor delantero que juega en la Liga Ingles, a tenido un problema historico con su peso, ala Preciado, pero peor. MPhela es su mas poderoso jugador.

Colombia.com (26/May/2010): El combinado nacional tiene definida la titular para enfrentar a los ‘Bafana bafana’. Yepes será el ‘patrón’ de la defensa.

Según medios de prensa, la Selección Colombia formará con Luis Enrique Martínez en el arco; Camilo Zúñiga, Cristina Zapata, Mario Yepes y Pablo Armero en defensa.

Los volantes serán Freddy Guarín, Víctor Ibarbo, Adrián Ramos y Abel Aguilar, quienes respaldarán en ataque a Jackson Martínez y Giovanni Moreno.

Los once de Colombia servirán de sparring para la Selección sudafricana, que comenzará a cerrar su etapa de preparación, antes del debut ante México el 11 de junio.

El equipo local integra el grupo A junto a Uruguay y Francia, y deberá mostrar una buena cara ante Colombia para despejar las dudas en torno a su juego.

Me gusta la formación! Quien lo hubiera creido que estaria en acuerdo con el Bolillito. Se ve bastante ofensiva esa alineacion, juegan practicamente con tres delanteros, ramos-jackson-moreno son ofensivos y hasta guarin marca con buena frequencia ahora. Esperemos que veamos algo distinto manana. Vamos colombia!

cierto se ve muy ofensiva... más si nos ponemos a pensar ke rodallega y dayro pueden jugar tambien de volantes extremos... osea ke kiza por algun momento del partido podriamos llegar a jugar con 4 delanteros...

Lo preocupante es el mediocampo y si abel puede recuperar y defender bien en el medio, siempre hay riezgo de que se haga expulsar, quizá es DEMASIADO ofensiva esa formacion, pero igual estoy contento que se arriesga en poner a todos esos hombres ofensivos a la vez. Ojala funcione para que pueda seguir jugando ofensivo colombia y con la mente en el gol y no el toque toque para atras.

con esa alineacion- y ramos alternando con Gio....me gusta la idea, ojala se entiendan y no se tropiezen con Ibarbo

un 4-4-2 con muchas variantes y dependiendo el ritmo del partido o lo que propongan los de Parreira.

el 20 creo q es Ibarbo, el 16 es Ramos sin duda.

i actually like the line up...only changes i would make are Mosquera for Yepes, Pino for Giovvani, J-rod for ibarbo, and Sanchez for Guarin

I'm actually really surprised with the formation. Perfect combination of speed and technique. The only thing I'm worried about is Aguilar and Guarin. With the others(Ibarbo, Jackson, ramos, gio) being mainly offensive minded these guys are going to have to do alot of work defending. Against South africa i expect to see us score quite a few goals.

I love the line up but dont see why Gio Moreno starting????

Roda is 10x the striker and does great at play making if you seen a wigan game

Gio moreno scores more, I prefer him over Roda but it's a tough call, a matter of taste. I think Roda scored too seldom in EPL / misses penalties etc, Moreno is more reliable there. Roda is more of a hard worker and stronger though.

If Moreno screws up I'm sure Roda will come in

That lineup may say Gio is playing forward, but expect to see him in drop back alot. roda can give effective passes, but there needs to be someone with some sort of mindset to organize, at least in bolillo's eyes.

I suspect he is calling Gio a striker so as to disguise the fact that he is his new 10. But to be honest i really don't have a problem with it if he'll be surrounded by such potent attackers as these.

I'd love to see John valencia come in for the second half. His ability to cleanly take the ball and spread it all over the field would make this team scary

You must not watch wigan..... he was their Gio Moreno but he did it in the EPL he beat Liverpool and Chelsea....

What kind of worries me about this line up is what is going to happen when Falcao and Jackson are both on the team because to bench either would be tragic

Creo q todos estamos contentos por algo y es por la alineacion no quisiera volver a ver la sele jugando con tres volantes de marca :s

i wouldnt be to worried about him not starting rodallega as its a friendly. theres surely many reasons he chose to not start him. maybe he's keeping the kid's fatigue level in mind since he just finished a full season in the epl. or maybe he wants to expirement in the first and fire on all cylinders in the 2nd. who knows, but i do like the idea bolillo has thus far. i just wanna see pino play for once!

Me gusta el esquema tactico y ademas muy cercano a la alineacion que yo habia dado con excepcion del los dos contenciones (Sanchez, john Valencia) y por derecha hubiera preferido a Roda en lugar de Ibarbo, pero creo que Ibarbo defiende mucho mas que Roda, adelante no tengo ninguna duda que hoy x hoy Moreno, que puede hecharse un poquito para atras y Jackson, son los mejores en esos puestos. me gusta.

This Ibarbo kid really worth the try out? I know he plays for nacional but never watched him play before.
