"The night is always darkest just before the dawn."...or so I'm told. Luis Perez respectfully steps down as Colo Colo's head coach. http://www.prensafutbol.cl/nacional...-de-colo-colo-qes-en-beneficio-del-clubq.html Rabello's transfer is now official according to Sevilla's home page. http://www.prensafutbol.cl/chilenos...hizo-oficial-el-fichaje-de-bryan-rabello.html Marini still an option. HeartandSoul, from what I can remember from Marini is that he tends to play with a 4-3-3 formation, with an offensive minded footy. He has been credited with polishing players such as Matias Campos Toro, Mauro Olivi, and Lucas Dominguez. He is not quite as offensive as Bielsa, in a sense, he reminds me of Borghi a lot more so than "El Loco" in terms of strategy, but both relate in going forward, which happens to be Marini's intention - at least, when he was in Audax. He's strong in motivation. http://elgrafico.grupopublimetro.cl/un-loco-bielsista-sigue-siendo-opcion-en-macul
I read that Marini worked under Gallego for quite some time and that made me think of a defensive style of play. It's hard to differentiate or disassociate someone when working with a defense minded coach. Right now, Colo Colo doesn't have the firepower to play successful offensive football, let alone have the midfield that can offer the needed support/security at the back.
According to ByN this is how much they paid for their players (excluding salaries) under Levy: 1) Lucas Wilchez: $700,000 2) Christian Vilches: $850,000 3) Osmar Molinas: $550,000 (Molinas has publicly denied that they paid this much for him) 4) Carlos Munoz: $1.3 million 5) Roberto Gutierrez: $650,000 6) Boris Rieloff: $450,000 7) Mauro Olivi: $1.1 million The early releases of Gallego and Basay cost ByN: $495,000 & $356,000 respectively.

It's official: Labruna is Colo Colo's new head coach. http://www.prensafutbol.cl/nacional...-colo-todos-los-caminos-llegan-a-labruna.html Labruna and Fleitas.
