    Yeah, I bet you are!

    Here ya go.

    MLS ALL-STARS STARTERS
    Jimmy Nielsen, 0
    Justin Morrow, 4 (Notre Dame)
    Jay DeMerit, 4 (Illinois-Chicago)
    Aurelien Collin, 0
Steven Beitashour, 4 (San Diego State)
    Osvaldo Alonso, 0
    Landon Donovan, 0
    Dwayne De Rosario, 0
    David Beckham, 0
    Thierry Henry, 0
    Chris Wondolowski, 4 (Chico State)

    MLS ALL-STARS SUBS
    Carlos Valdes, 0
Dan Kennedy, 4 (UC Santa Barbara)
Chris Pontius, 4 (UC Santa Barbara)
    Kyle Beckerman, 0
    Ramiro Corrales, 0
    Graham Zusi, 4 (Maryland)
    Eddie Johnson, 0
    Michael Farfan, 4 (North Carolina)

Suffice to say, no one from Chelsea played college soccer.

I thought many of the college alums played very well. Obviously, Pontius was the MVP so that speaks for itself but I thought Morrow and DeMerit were really good in the back and Wondolowski took his goal well and was a threat most of the time he was in. I thought Kennedy had some good moments but he was also largely at fault on the Chelsea goal and Beitashour played well but was fortunate not to be the goat of the game as he should have been flagged for a handball in the box in the game's waning moments.

As usual, I agree with most of what you say, but I'll take issue with your points above.

    1. I wouldn't say Kennedy played well, but I'm not sure he was particularly at fault for the goal. On that play, the All-Stars were completely disorganized, with multiple Chelsea attackers alone in front of the net. If Kennedy stays on his line, there's a very good chance Lampard scores anyway. And to top it off, instead of marking anyone on that cross, Valdes managed to get in Kennedy's way.

    2. For me, the Beitashour play isn't even borderline, ball-to-hand = no foul.

    3. Also, I see Zusi as an unsung hero. Very active, with quality touches in the build-up to both of the goals that were scored while he was on the field. When he was at Maryland, I had no idea how good this guy could be.
