La formación fue la anunciada ayer: Palos(ARG); F.Rojas, Roco, Abarca, Suárez; Muñoz, Vera(PAR), Canío, Lusardi(PAR); Milla(ARG), Flores. DT: Acosta. Recién iniciado el partido, a los 00:47, vino el centro aéreo de Marco Medel desde el lado de Felipe Rojas, y Rodríguez anotó el 1:0 para Audax. El partido lo dominó COBRELOA siempre: dominio de balón, pero con pocas llegadas claras, ya que Audax metió a 9 jugadores atrás para defender y hacer tiempo. Ayer se oficializó por parte del gobierno que la construcción del nuevo Estadio Municipal de Calama (para apenas 12.000 personas ) se iniciará en agosto o septiembre. La construcción tomará 1 año. E inmediatamente comenzó la búsqueda de hogar para el Clausura 2012, Sudamericana 2012 y Apertura 2013. Por ahora, COBRELOA podrá jugar contra Univ.de Chile y Audax (en julio) en Calama. La Sudamericana aún no tiene fechas definidas, pero posiblemente se inicie a fines de julio, por lo cual COBRELOA podría jugar en Calama al menos su primer partido por Sudamericana. Los problemas vienen después, ya que las opciones que se barajan son: Estadio Regional de Antofagasta (está siendo remodelado desde hace varios meses. Supuestamente iba a estar terminado en julio, pero las obras han avanzado tan lentamente que posiblemente esté terminado en diciembre ). Se perdería la ventaja de la altura, pero tiene el plus de la "cercanía" con Calama (casi 3 horas) y los miles de cobreloínos de Antofagasta, más los cobreloínos de Calama, Tocopilla y Taltal podrían viajar sin problemas. Estadio El Cobre de El Salvador (está en altura, pero está demasiado lejos de Calama y sería casi imposible que los cobreloínos llegaran en buena cantidad). Estadio del Parque Juan López de Antofagasta (actualmente lo está usando el C.D.Antofagasta. Tiene las ventajas del Regional, pero tiene muy poca capacidad). Sería imposible jugar ahí play-offs en noviembre-diciembre. Estadio Municipal de San Pedro de Atacama (tiene altura y relativa cercanía con Calama, pero tiene cancha sintética. Si bien tiene poca capacidad, ya se jugó Copa Chile ahí entre San Pedro y Univ.Católica hace un par de años).
El juvenil Patricio Troncoso se fracturó uno de los dedos del pie, y es la 2da baja de Cobreloa para los próximos partidos. Troncoso no ha debutado aún en 1ra, pero es uno de los volantes ofensivos más talentosos de nuestro club (tiene "aires" de Jorge Valdivia: muy técnico, algo "sobrado" o burlón con los rivales, chutea bien los tiros libres).
4ta fecha: COBRELOA-Huachipato 4:2 Se jugó ante más de 4.000 personas (pagaron 3.400, y las mujeres, niños y ancianos que llevaban alimentos no perecibles para los damnificados de Toconao entraban gratis). Se jugó nuevamente en una tarde nublada, terminando el invierno altiplánico. Bajas: Cristián Suárez, Patricio Troncoso y Diego Barrios(PAR) (lesionados). Por lo que se vio en la tele, el balón nunca entró completamente, sólo parcialmente. Pero COBRELOA tiene fútbol y jugadores para revertir situaciones adversas, y así ocurrió: A los 19 penal sobre Flores y Canío empató de penal. COBRELOA siguió presionando a Huachipato, y a los 35 Lusardi agarró el balón llenito de zurda y sacó un tiro desde fuera del área al ángulo de Cristián Muñoz para convertir un GO-LA-ZO, el mejor del fin de semana! COBRELOA continuó dominando, pero terminó el 1er tiempo. En el 2do tiempo COBRELOA mejoró mucho en presión y en cantidad de llegadas. A los 50 centro bajo de Flores quien dejó a arco vacío a Milla, quien se acomodó y definió con facilidad para anotar el 3:1. Y a los 53 la figura del partido, Felipe Flores, centró por arriba para Canío, quien de cabeza anotó el 4:1. Ya era fiesta total en el Estadio Municipal de Calama. A los 58 vino un tiro en que Palos dio rebote, y Rodríguez oportunista descontó. Cristián Rojas entró por Felipe Rojas. El propio C.Rojas casi anota su 1er gol por COBRELOA, pero el balón dio en el poste!! A los 64 entró José L.Díaz por Milla. Pudo meter 2 pases profundos y poco más. A los 73 Sebastián Zúñiga reemplazó a Felipe Flores, quien salió ovacionado. COBRELOA perdió algunas ocasiones al final, pero el 4:2 quedó sentenciado.
