Strange reaction of president. Players from second and lower division aren't so expensive.

Tonight will be the anniversary official dinner in a well-known hotel in Calama.

So Acosta and Maureira will chat again about the last possible new player (an attacking midfielder). Acosta wants an attacking midfielder right now, but if not, then will use Canío in that role, or Lusardi alone without another attacking midfielder.

Javier Maureira said last night during the "Orange dinner" that the argentine atttacking midfielder José Luis "Pepe" Díaz, 37 years old, retired in 2010, ex-Cobreloa 2002-2003 and Clausura2004-2007, 3 times Champion in Cobreloa (Apertura 2003, Clausura 2003 and Clausura 2004) is our new player.

He is now our 7th foreigner (not counting Elizondo, who is injured).

I think he WAS a great player, but he's not fit, he didn't play in any club during 2011, and probably he came back to our club because he was an "idol" in 2003-2004, probably he's cheap and he knows how to kick the ball in the free-kicks. I don't think he'll starter.

Left back Andrés Oroz resigned on friday morning:eek:

The reason: He didn't want to say the truth, but everybody thinks that he had a heated discussion with the coach Nelson Acosta. He said thanks to the fans and directors of the club.

His future would be in Rangers, with Nico Peric.

Nice victory against La Calera. Why did Andres Oroz resigned? Forever? Probably some verbal issues with the coach and management.

High victory of Union Espanola against Cobresal 6-1. Sebastian Jaime :) scored three goals. Also bad surprise for U. Catolica against Santiago Wanderers.

News from handball: Chile will play against Croatia, Japan and Iceland in qualifications for Olympics in London 2012. This qualification tournament should be played in Croatia, city of Varazdin, not confirmed yet. First two teams can go on Summer Olympic. It's nice, that Chilean team will come in Croatia. I hope that Chilean TV houses will broadcast this tournament. Maybe if Chileans see good handball atmosphere, maybe they would invest more time for this sport and have matches against France, Spain, Croatia, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, etc.:D

News from Superbowl 2012: In finals Croatia had three participants, correctly American-Croatians:

    New England Patriots: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_England_Patriots

    Rob Ninkovich: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rob_Ninkovich

Head coach of N. E. Patriots is Bill Belichick, another American-Croatian.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Belichick

Other finalist New York Giants have another player with Croatian heritage, his mother is Croatian, father is German.

    David Diehl: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Diehl

"His Croat origins are from his maternal grandparents. His grandfather, Ante Bekavac, emigrated to United States from Lovreć in Croatia, while his grandmother (born Semanić) is from Croatian islands. Thanks to his grandmother, Diehl was raised in Croatian spirit; he wanted to represent his Croatian descent through a tattoo of the Croatian coat of arms on his left arm. Diehl stated that his favorite tattoo is his Croatian coat of arms. He visited Croatia in June and July 2011, in search for his roots."

Croats are in almost every sport.:D

Croatian Futsal team has won in the second match against Czech Republic 5-4, and Croatia qualified in quarterfinals. In quarterfinals, our opponent is Ukraine.

    Croatia-Czech Republic 5-4
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTEO0WB3jXg"]UEFA Futsal Croatia 2012: Croatia - Czech Republic 5:4 04/02/2012 - YouTube[/ame]

After second goal, they played without GK. Also Czechs played aggressive, their player got the red card, when they saw bad match for them. They are third European team. And we lost against them three times qualifications. One time, referee robbed Croatia, it was 2-1 in Czech Republic, and they won 3-2 in last 2,3 minutes, with penalty also. These qualifications are bad, always host must go further, in Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Azerbaijan fixed one match so that they can both go in Thailand, upcoming WC and Czechs were hosts in Ostrava. Maybe they gave to Croatia easier opponents in the group, who knows. Romania and Czech Republic aren't so difficult. Next opponent is Ukraine, also easier than Portugal, Spain, Russia, Italy. We can avoid these teams all the way to semifinals. Ukraine is much better than Romania and Czech Republic.

    In Europe came terrible winter.
It's weird to see the snow in Split and Dalmatia. Other videos are Snijeg u Splitu (Snow in Split).

My bad: 3 points in 1 game. 100%.:cool

Thanks. It was an important result. Now we'll have Roco, Vera and Milla against Audax.
Well, Oroz didn't want to say too much about the incident. But now he's happy, because he has an offert from Rangers. Nelson Acosta said that was never a discussion. Simply Oroz didn't accept and order or a critic about his performance during a practice, and he got angry and he abandoned the practice after training only 30 minutes.

Chile will lose against Croatia for sure. But maybe our compatriots could do well against Japan and Iceland. Never knows. I don't know if this championship will be broadcasted on the national TV channels.

Yes, the european winter is terrible. There is many dead people in Eastern Europe (Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Czech Rep., Lithuania, Latvia, etc.). Even in France and Italy.
In our Chilean winter there are some dead people too, but never more than 5-10 homeless people. Usually old people, it's very sad when they dead of cold.

Chile has different kinds of weathers and temperatures.

Calama is still in the "altiplanic winter": cloudy, soft rain, very cold in the mornings (3º Celsius) but warmer in the afternoons.
In the northern coast (Arica, Iquique, Antofagasta, Bahía Inglesa, La Serena-Coquimbo) is perfect: 22-25 degrees celsius.
Easter Island 27º, always hot and wet.
Region de Valparaíso coast is nice too: 20-22 degrees as highest temperatures in the afternoons. But in the eastern cities (Los Andes, San Felipe, La Calera, Quillota) is too hot. At night is nice (12-13º). There are big fires in some places of the Region de Valparaíso (Puchuncaví, Limache, Villa Alemana, Viña del Mar, Valparaíso, etc.). Most of them are already under control.
Santiago is a hot hell in summer (32º).
Central regions are nice in the coast (Concepción 24º) and hot in the central and eastern cities (Rancagua 31, Talca 30, Chillán 29).
The south is nice in summer, and cold at night: Temuco 23º, Pucón 22º, Valdivia 21º, Puerto Montt 20º, Chiloé island is rainy and 16º-17º, Coyhaique 15º and Punta Arenas 13º and rainy).

Yes, Díaz thinks he can do a great season, but I'm not sure about this. Anyway he's not expensive (hope so).

Start of one championship is always important. It would be bad to see Oroz unhappy in Cobreloa, other players would see this, atmosphere could be bad. It's great that he found another club.

Yes, probably Chile would lose against Croatia in handball, but once Argentina won against Croatia 31-30 in one World Cup 2003, Portugal. But Croatia won gold here, this match against Argentina was the opening match. I don't know anything about Japanese handball, about Iceland I know many informations. Iceland has strong players, they like to attack, for example Croatia won against Iceland 33-32 on this last EURO 2012 in Serbia. Against them it's always hard.

    Iceland: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iceland_national_handball_team

Best players are: Palmarsson, Atlason, Sigurdsson, Gustavsson. In general these players who play in Germany are the best players. Also Danish league is good.

Also they have one player, he is their ultimative legend.

    Olafur Stefansson: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ólafur_Stefánsson

He hasn't retired yet, but he is older player. Iceland won silver medal in Beijing 2008 (Olympics). But now on EURO they finished on 10th position, that's rather bad for them. Probably they have some problems.

It's good for Chile that they played one tie match against Slovakia, in qualifications for World Cup 2011.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chile_men's_national_handball_team

Against Poland and South Korea Chile had active result in half time, but at the end they had lost with 15 goals of difference. I think that Chile needs do something with strength, fatigue and invite several good players for wider bench.

In every half time Chile had normal difference, but lack of experience, strength made these matches very bad. Except against Sweden Chile could not do much. After all Sweden is the best team in history when you calculate their medals. But Sweden also has some problems.

I think that the best Chilean player is Oneto, player of Barcelona.:D Other best players are from Germany and other Spanish clubs. These leagues are the best leagues. They buy a lot, but they are not dedicated to their own players, except Spain.

Japanese players play only in Japanese league. From Asia best team is South Korea. I think that Chile can win very easy against Japan. Unknown team. Against Iceland everything can happen.:D Chile needs to play only three matches. Croatia doesn't make huge goal differences, they play more relaxed, if they see that they have this victory, they play normal, goal by goal. Maybe on Olympics they make huge differences, against Asian teams, Australia maybe.

From Africa, best teams are Tunis and Egypt.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tunisia_national_handball_team

Interesting for Tunis is that when they were hosts of one WC, they were fourth and on all other Championships, they were between 10-15 position.:D Curious, fixed matches at home.

    Egypt is little better:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egypt_national_handball_team

Chile will probably visit this Croatian city: Varazdin. Whole tournament will be here. Ex-Croatian capital. But very beautiful continental city.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Varaždin

Nice to have Chilean players on Croatian soil.:)

    Croatia handball team: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croatia_national_handball_team

Croatia also had Bosnian Muslims in their NT: Mirza Dzomba, Irfan Smajlagic and Zlatko Saracevic. But they did not want to play for Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am not sure for Saracevic.

Also there are a lot of Croats who have origins from Bosnia and Herzegovina, they also played for Croatia: Ivano Balić (best player in whole handball history), Božidar Jović (maybe Serb, who knows), Slavko Goluža (current coach of Croatia), Denis Buntić (shooter from the right side), Vlado Šola (ex-GK), Venio Losert (current GK) i Mirko Alilović (current GK).

Famous Croatian footballers from Bosnia and Herzegovina: Ivica Osim, Josip Bukal, Josip Katalinski, Nikola Nikić, Mario Stanić, Miroslav Blažević, Miroslav Brozović, Davor Jozić, Franjo Vladić, Ivan Ćurković, Blaž Slišković, Vlado Slišković, Josip Musa, Boro Primorac, Ivica Barbarić, Goran Jurić, Predrag Jurić, Jadranko Topić, Marijan Bloudek, Ivan Cvjetković, Davor Šuker, Kruno Jurčić, Zvonimir Soldo, Dario Šimić, Zoran Mamić, Vladimir Vasilj, Boris Živković, Stjepan Tomas, Mario Tokić, Tomislav and Marijo Marić, Mato Neretljak i Vedran Ješe.

Only Ivica Osim considered himself as Yugoslav, now Bosnian.:) He gave to his son Muslim name, Arman. Probably his wife is a Muslim.

    http://hr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hrvatski_šport_u_Bosni_i_Hercegovini

Yes, around 250 people died in Europe, because of this winter. Brrrrr.:D Russia makes some problems with gas. And they say that Ukraine stole this gas, maybe it's true, who knows. Whole Europe depends on Russian gas, but Croatia and Italy have their own sources. But not plenty though.:D

People can go out through their windows in Bosnia, Serbia, they had a lot of snow in some moments, because of mountains.

Germany, Austria, are also terrible. Nice temperatures in Chile. Punta Arenas sounds great now, from European perspective.

    Temperatures in Europe: http://vrijeme.hr/aktpod_e.php?id=europa_e

Spain, Greece, Portugal, Cyprus are great now. On Iceland is 8, they are always in polar coldness. Something came from Russia, almost like in Siberia. Light snow is falling in Croatia.

Diaz is just collecting his last bag of money. Dinamo Zagreb bought Jens Nowotny, also Fredi Bobic played in Croatian league, Dario Simic came from Monaco in Dinamo Zagreb, they only played several matches and collected their last money.:D

Diaz will probably say: My experience and fruitfull career can help a lot to younger players, stories about role model.:D

Varazdin is a beautiful city as I see in the pics.:) Beautiful castle.

I just posted the handball news here:
    https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=391460&page=24

Our directors want "Pepe" Díaz will be coach for the young players of our club after his retire, at the end of this year.

We have a couple of former players of the club working as coachs in our youth categories: César Bravo and Luis Alegría. "Pepe" would be the 3rd one in 2013.

Varazdin is smaller city, but very beautiful.

Also, great news from EURO Futsal in Croatia. Croatia won against Ukraine, 1-1 in regular time, nothing happened in additional time, and after that penalties (6 meters). Second commentator is Robert Jarni. After his football career he played some time in Small Football (or Futsal).

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eEVgDKSlc4"]UEFA Futsal Croatia 2012: Croatia - Ukraine 4:2 (1:1) 06/02/2012 - YouTube[/ame]

Players sang this song with audience: Lijepa li si (eng. You are beautiful). This song was dedicated to Croatian regions, so that every person of these regions is united with people from other regions: Dalmatia, Zagora, Lika, Istra, Zagorje, Slavonija, Herzeg-Bosnia. In one part you can see Croatian city of Vukovar that Serbs destroyed, also with white crosses, Croatian victims of that war.

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwIyG3Zvp0"]Marko Perkovic Thompson - Lijepa li si - YouTube[/ame]

    Lyrics in English:

    When I remember tears start
    I smell memories
    Every step of the homeland
    And folk customs

    Recognize your beauty
    What awakened my love
When I'm with you my heart
    Beats faster, it's big

    Oy Zagora, you're beautiful
    Slavonija, you're golden
    Herzeg-Bosnia, heart of pride
    Dalmatia, my sea
One soul and two of us
    Greetings Lika, Velebit of glory

When Neretva to the sea moves
    You then remember me
To my song become a theme
For those who are not here anymore

    Come on, Istria and Zagorje
    Let's lift all three colors
    Embrace in front of everyone
Let us see that we are there

    You are beautiful

Now Croatia plays against winner Russia-Serbia.:D Russia is better, Ukraine was three times in finals.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ukraine_national_futsal_team

Also Ukraine tricked us with Azerbaijan before one month. UKR and AZER played the only active result for both teams: WC in Thailand qualifications. We lost against Ukraine 4-1.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_FIFA_Futsal_World_Cup_qualification_(UEFA)#Group_5

Reporters and media are saying in public that Azerbaijan payed money to Ukraine, so that they let this victory. Futsal sounds worse than football.:) Nobody watches these qualifications, so they can do everything. It's in one country, without home-guest matches. Now Croatian team is moving from Split in Zagreb. One Croatian player said something silly: "Can't wait to come in Zagreb, among my people" After that he said: Audience in Split was great. Silly to say, after all Split supported them great. Like always, regional rivalry is present. It would be great that Croatia plays against Serbia in semifinals, so that we give them back the same atmosphere, like Croats did had in Serbia, EURO in handball.

    Russia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russia_national_futsal_team
    Serbia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serbia_national_futsal_team

Also, Azerbaijan didn't wanted to play so good, because they receive high prizes only when they come in semifinals. They saw that they can't play against Portugal, Spain, Russia, Italy, so they didn't wanted to play on better level. Weird team. They lost both matches, even though they had good attack.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_UEFA_Futsal_Championship

Spain won against Romania 8-3 in quarterfinals. Croatia wanted to avoid Spain.

Italy and Portugal are playing today, like Russia and Serbia. Portugal sounds better than Italy, not sure. I didn't even knew from which distance they shoot penalties. Ten years Croatia was unlucky in qualifications, hard opponents, referees or fixed match, like this between Ukraine-Azerbaijan.

In Croatia this sport has 30 year tradition, but not as Futsal, yet as Little Football, 5+1 teams.

I saw now Derby 2012. Quick Casablanca has won. He was really quick. Long distance; 2800 meters.

Handball can be popularized in Chile, this sport is not so expensive, only you need to have several halls, talented players could play easy in Spain, Germany, maybe France. It's contact sport, fast. If Spain can be good, also South American teams can be good, because many South Americans have Spanish heritage. It's not boring to watch, when you have best teams on some competition, popular in Europe. French handball national team are like celebrities, when they leave from France, thousands of people come on Champs-Elysees.

Cobreloa U18 won an international tournament in Arica.:)
They played against Chilean and Peruvian clubs.
Some of our players are NT players, like Maximiliano Gálvez and Ángel Cofré. Also we have some interesting young players like Michel Araya, Patricio Troncoso and Richard Catrileo.

Yeah, he deserved to be the starter, and he did a couple of great saves.

Congrats for the victory in futsal against Ukraine.

Chile doesn't have a serious futsal league. I mean, we have a long tradition in baby-football (several decades). It's the same, but outdoor, not in a hall. 4 players plus a goalkeeper. There are much more amateurs babyfootballers than amateurs footballers.
But our futsal is a joke, it doesn't exist a national league, and then our NT sucks in continental competitions.

But handball is popular in some schools. I played handball when I was a kid, but I always preferred football ("soccer" as the northamericans say).
Is not a masive sport, only a few schools include handball as sport. So we have only a few good players. The NT is improving, it was obvious during the Panamerican games last year. It was fun to watch.

César "tomate" Bravo played in few national clubs (Cobreloa, Everton and Ñublense) and in Indonesia. He was a central back during the 90s.

Another Bravo, Claudio, is Real Sociedad's goalkeeper. But they are not relatives. Bravo is a very common name in Chile.

There was a French footballer called Bravo, in Paris St-Germain.

Good news for Cobreloa youth.:) Cobreloa could create the team, like Barcelona B team helps to Barcelona A team.

Thanks, now Croatia must create best edition in semifinals. It would be sad that they lose now. Imagine that Croatia wins this tournament.:D Spain is so strong, they have above 100 victories in a row.

Maybe Chile doesn't have serious league, but I think that players like to play on these smaller playgrounds. I don't know why Croatia had system 5+1 and not 4+1. There are different variations.

People in Europe like to hire gyms for this type of football, and they play with their friends, after that they go to eat, drink.:D It's popular in many countries in Europe, but only few of them have good results in Futsal.

Croatia has Futsal league, but I don't know are they good when you compare them with Spain, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Netherlands. These players have 19,20 years. They told that they are creating new generation for upcoming years. This hostship is the start of Croatian team.

These are the clubs in Croatia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croatian_1.HMNL
This league exists since Croatian independence, 1991.

During winter break, it's popular that clubs from normal football, Dinamo, Hajduk, etc. play one tournament in the hall. It's called Kutija Sibica (Box of matches), here was one fan riot.

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQ-c1AcAWpE&feature=related"]Mirko "Cro Cop" Hrgovic vs. Dinamo Fan - YouTube[/ame]

Fans of Dinamo Zagreb in Belgrade, during 80's and many other videos.

To bad that Chile doesn't want to organize Futsal league. They could do good results, like in normal football.

Handball is a difficult sport, for example I can't hit the ball so strong like they can, can't fly from the line all the way to the opponent's goal.

I watch EURO's, World Cups, Olympics, European Handball Champions League. You can see good moves there, dramatic situations, there is not many intentional violence, majority of these best national teams have their players in the same clubs. Even between Croatia and Serbia, players acted normally, because they play together, but they have their political, historical thoughts.
If they used violent things, it could be much worse for the fans.

Best handball teams in Europe are, from West to East: Iceland, Spain, France, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Serbia, Russia was great in 90's: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russia_national_handball_team

Chile should improve volleyball, I saw now, that Chile played in one World Cup 1982.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chile_men's_national_volleyball_team

In Croatia volleyball is also bad now, problems in Federation, desire for money, players could not buy tickets from Federation money, management stole everything. Now Croatia tries to build new generation, females and males were good before.

    Female: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croatia_women's_national_volleyball_team

    Men: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croatia_men's_national_volleyball_team

Probably I saw Claudio Bravo more. Because of his status in Primera. Didn't heard about PSG player called Bravo.

Do you play football sometimes? I don't play so much, like before. In 90's it was much better, everyday football, without any obligations.:p

In waterpolo, Croatian clubs are good in European Champions League, it's called LEN Euroleague: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LEN_Euroleague_2011–12

For example USA, Australia were so bad in waterpolo before maybe 10 years, now they play great.

Croatian club HAVK Mladost (eng. Youth) from Zagreb is best waterpolo club in 20th century.

    HAVK Mladost Zagreb: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HAVK_Mladost
    VK Jug Dubrovnik: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VK_Jug_Dubrovnik
VK Primorje EB Rijeka: can't find on Wikipedia.

    Croatian waterpolo league: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croatian_First_League_of_Water_Polo

Adriatic league, this is regional league, builded from several countries: Croatia, Italy, Montenegro, Slovenia, without Serbia.
    http://www.hvs.hr/index.php/compone...zona-20112012/2845-poredak-tjvl-20112012.html

There is also World's League, many competitions, this can make waterpolo boring.:)

These clubs are best clubs in Croatia. Teams that were bad before, they said: We learned from Youtube from other best teams.:)

    Jug means South.

Yeah, our young players are improving. We have talent, but we need to give them more minutes on the field.
Some good players started their careers in COBRELOA: Camilo Pino(U20 WC 1987), Alexis Sánchez(Barcelona), Eduardo Vargas(Napoli), Charles Aránguiz(Univ.de Chile), Antenor "Junior" Fernándes(Univ.de Chile), Francisco Castro(Univ.de Chile).

There are some young players in the 1rst squad (Sebastián Contreras, Rodolfo González, Miguel Sanhueza, Carlos Gómez, Felipe Palacios, Michel Araya, Bryan Cortés, Patricio Troncoso, Gustavo Geraldo, Richard Catrileo, Álvaro López, etc.).
Gustavo Ponce, a talented U19 midfielder, is going on loan to Naval(2nd division).

Our futsal needs best directors and a better organization to create a national league, with TV and sponsors.

In big cities like Santiago, people must hire gyms to play baby-football(futsal), or being part of a "club" or "estadio" (like Estadio Croata, Estadio Español, Stadio Italiano, etc.) to practice sports. In other cities it's easier than in Stgo., because you can rent a baby-football field for 1 or 2 hours to play with friends in amateur leagues.
Football amateur is popular too, but it's more expensive than rent a baby-football field, except if you are lucky enough to have a football field in your own neighbourhood (which in these times is very strange; in the past it was still possible).

I don't play football anymore. I used to play football when I was younger, but anyway I used to play much more baby-football. After the games, the loser team used to pay the drinks to the winners.:D (the good old days...)

(I don't like this player, he had a bad season during 2011 in cc).

Andrés Oroz has gone to Rangers.

The young Chilean-australian forward José "canguro" Guerrero lost a work trial against Cobreloa, after his "autodespido", and now he must return to our club. He has contract until 2014.

You wrote about ex-Cobreloa players quite often.:D And Alexis Sanchez is a great player, only if he avoids injuries.

Futsal in Europe is not so popular, only in several countries. Germany, France, England avoids to invest in futsal, because, they could lose players in normal football.

Ukraine wants to see Croatia as disqualified team, because some fans have putted Ukrainian flag into trash. And their captain had blood from his nose. They talk now about fair play, but they forgot what happened before one month in Azerbaijan, they practically moved from Azerbaijan players, so that they can score 4 goals. Only active result for both teams was 4-2, and this happened.

Also this hostship in Ukraine and Poland for EURO 2012 is also suspicious. Croatia and Hungary had more votes in the first round, Italy was first and Ukraine and Poland were last.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Euro_2012_bids

Croatia had 9 votes, but in final Croatia had 0 votes. Croatia had thousands pages for their presentation, Ukraine and Poland had maybe 30, 40 pages. Also, Polish football has a lot of affairs, 200 persons were arrested in 2009.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Football_in_Poland

On Croatian websites there are a lot of negative comments for Ukrainian futsal team. Ukrainian team wanted to travel with train from Split and this train went out, nobody was injured. If UEFA wants to popularize more futsal, they should give fair conditions for every team. Because of these unfair countries, people become angry, together with the players.

This was the match between Ukraine and Azerbaijan. So funny to watch.
On video around 3.30 minute one Ukrainian player avoided to take the ball. They moved and played without any contact aginst Azerbaijan.

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMwdfLe8AQc&feature=related"]Azerbaijan - Ukraine 4:2 18.12.2011 - YouTube[/ame]

Comments in the bottom say a lot also.:D Some comments say that Croats and Ukrainians have same heritage, from White Croatia. But they helped to Azerbaijan anyway.

On this EURO you can't receive the ball without one or even two players on your back.

    Croatia won easy against Azerbaijan:

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCEQeqvYdxs&feature=related"]Azerbaijan - Croatia 1:3 | FIFA Futsal World Cup Qualifiers - YouTube[/ame]

At the end of this video, you can see the title: 100 years of football in Azerbaijan.:D We see this tradition.

Croatia plays against Russia after all, they won against Serbia 2-1.

You can see here how Croats say boos during Serbian national anthem, but it's not so strong like Serbs did in belgrade during the handball match against Croatia. Also they turned the volume down.

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSk2keutId0"]Srbija : Portugal 1:2 (0:0) - UEFA Futsal Euro Croatia 2012 - YouTube[/ame]

And Serbian reporter said: We have fans that will support against someone, not for someone. They forgot about Serbian axes in Croatian vehicles. Short memory. If Croatia and Serbia had met in semifinals, it would be so loud in Zagreb. Everyone would say boos and songs against Serbs. But Croats don't practice to go on Serbian matches and support their opponents, like Portugal, Azerbaijan.

This sound of boos is much better:

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCks7Tk45XM"]Srbija-Portugal 1:2 ,Futsal Euro 2012. ,Hrvatska,Arena Zagreb,2012.02.05. - YouTube[/ame]

The hall is almost empty, during EURO in handball they supported every Croatian opponent. Nothing compared with Serbian hatred against Croats.

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdqtvuKoebA&feature=related"]Azerbaijan - Serbia 8:9 3.02.2012 - YouTube[/ame]

One comment in the bottom is funny.:D

In Europe you also must loan the hall for your friends. It's around 50 euros. Playgrounds outside are almost empty, halls also, small amount of people play amateur football. They watch mostly.

Before, during my childhood, playgrounds were always busy, outside, inside, people played on one goal.:D

We did the same, we played on baby football playgrounds, after that we went on barbecue, grill in some restaurants, similar custom like in Chile. But this is over now. Nobody do this. Later came Play Station, xBox, video games, PC's. Now we play football games on virtual way: EA SPORTS It's in the Game. Before it was much more exciting, now people sit in the bars, have smaller groups of friends, people who go in the mountains, hiking, etc. are weird people in Europe, even though they live probably more exciting.:)
Everything changed in 21st century, customs, habits, social needs. Before we didn't had video games, internet, forums.:D

Yeah, that's a huge problem. The 80s kids played football in the streets during hours and hours; the 2010s kids don't play football, they play virtual games while they get fat.
Our currents U20 and U17 NT's are shit. These new generations of chilean footballers can't play at the same level than previous young NTs. I think playstation, videogames, internet, etc. have some part of responsability in the poor level of young footballers. It's hard to find the talent in these young NTs. The mentality of these young footballers is to play 1 or 2 years in Chile, and then move to Europe as fast as they can. They don't care for titles, improving their quality, etc. They want to become richs as fast as possible.

Yeah, footballistically is a bad decision. But fortunately Cobreloa didn't buy him. Our club got him on loan, but our club must pay him monthly.

Every australian is a "canguro" for us.:D

Another nicknames (in the current squad):

    Felipe "cachete"(cheek) Rojas
Cristián "moai"(Easter island's stone giant) Suárez
Cristián "chapa"(probably for "chapita" Barros Schelotto) Rojas
Bryan "pelela"(kind of haircut that he had when he was younger) Cortés
Sebastián "chure" Contreras (it's a northern nickname, I don't know what "chure" means)
Gerson "chon" (diminutive for Ger"SON") Martínez
    José Luis "Pepe"(José="Pepe") Díaz
Carlos "Puyol"(he looks like Carles Puyol) Gómez

After school time in elementary school, during 90's I was out of my home all the time, until 9, 10 PM we played football, when you are tired, you can sleep better, you can develop social skills better, healthier body, now it's all about business, people say: I do a lot of sports, I go to bet every day and during weekends I watch football on TV.

After, in high school, we played football only in sport, which was part of our evaluations. There, everything became hard, running, basketball, football, because we all had several kilos extra.:D

Also companies that produce food oriented to produce more, without quality. When you eat today's oranges, tomatoes, kiwi, bread, potatoes, salad, apples, everything is without taste, GMO.

Pork meat has some kind of smell, that's why I avoid to eat pork meat. Chicken, turkey, ducks grow faster, because they give to them food. Did you know that this food comes from died animals, dogs that wander around the cities, died cats, it's called bone flour. Maybe you have different expression.

Air is poluted more than ever. Magical circle of illness and low quality life no matter how money you have.

I try to buy ecological fruit, bread, but it's difficult to find, also they can give false informations, for example brown sugar, black bread. They just use colors for this.

That's why we have children, footballers, basketballers that were educated on Play Station and bad food.

I avoid McDonald's also. In 2005 I had problems after their meals. Blackness infront of my eyes. Since than I was there maybe 1,2 times, eating only pommes frites, without meat. Before that case I did not eat regulary there, but after this, I avoid this fast food chain and other chains.:D When you eat their products, you get the feeling, like you eat medium size rock.

There is nothing better than natural and well cared food. To bad that I belong to generation that could play football every day and after that almost never.:p Generations after me, live with virtual heroes, they play Farmville, use Facebook all the time, Twitter.

Maybe African players will have good team, they don't have these silly technical wonders.

If Cobreloa took Jerez just for loan, this is better.

Croatian NT had several canguros: Anthony Seric, Joe Simunic and many others that played for Australia, because they didn't had quality for Croatian NT, except Jason Culina and Mark Viduka. We lost them.

These Moai Statues look great. True touristic atraction.

I know that Maniche got his nickname, because he looks like Danish footballer Manniche. Don't see to much similarities. Manniche is blond.:D And Portuguese say Manish, not Manihen, like Danish people.:D
